  We are a warm and welcoming family of four, living in a cozy home in a peaceful residential area—perfectly situated between the mountains and the beach! Our house is just five minutes from Reus (Gaudí’s hometown) and only an hour by train from the vibrant city of Barcelona. We also share our home with a friendly cat and some lively fish tanks!
  
  Our little adventurers, Ona (7) and Pol (3), are full of energy and curiosity. We’re looking for an English-speaking Workawayer who can help them improve their language skills in a fun and natural way—through songs, traditional games, arts & crafts, storytelling, and other playful activities.
  
  We’d love to welcome someone who is kind, responsible, tidy, and creative—someone who enjoys spending time with kids and already has some fun activities in mind for their age group. Your main role will be to engage with Ona and Pol through interactive play while making learning English an enjoyable experience.
  
  More than just a Workawayer, we want you to feel at home and become part of our family during your stay with us. If you love exploring new cultures, sharing experiences, and making meaningful connections, we’d be thrilled to have you!

  We want to make sure you have a fantastic experience while staying with us! There’s a great community of young people here who will be excited to show you around and help you feel at home.
  
  During your stay, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in Catalan and Spanish culture, explore the beautiful surroundings, and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. If you love climbing, you’re in luck—La Mussara and Montsant are nearby, and there’s even a Climbing Club in the village where you can join and practice. Prefer the beach? There are several stunning sandy beaches just a short trip away.
  
  For cultural experiences, Barcelona is only an hour away, offering endless sights, and if you’re interested in Roman history, the ancient city of Tarragona is right next door.
  
  Just let us know what your interests are, and we’ll do our best to help you make the most of your time here! The mild climate in our area makes it perfect for exploring and enjoying the outdoors year-round.

  We're looking for a fun, open-minded, and friendly person who loves discovering new cultures and enjoys spending time with kids. Your days will be filled with storytelling, games, and creative activities to help the children pick up English in an engaging way. Being warm and caring with them is a must! If you have experience teaching English, that's definitely a bonus.

  Our kids are especially excited to welcome an English-speaking Workawayer! We’re a multilingual family and speak Catalan, Spanish, and English at home. We kindly ask that you always communicate with the children in English, while they will naturally switch between languages when speaking with us or with you. If you're interested, we're more than happy to help you learn Spanish or Catalan during your stay! :)

  As mentioned, you’ll have your own private room, while the rest of the house will be shared with us, making you truly feel at home.
  
  Besides spending quality time with the children, we’d appreciate some light household help. This includes assisting with laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying up to keep our home cozy and welcoming. Cooking is mainly our responsibility, but if you enjoy preparing meals, we’d love to try new dishes from your culture!
  
  We believe in teamwork and a family-friendly atmosphere, so your help will be valued and never overwhelming

  TIPS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE TOGETHER
  Open Communication – If you're tired, unwell, or need something, just let us know. We’ll invite you to join family activities, but there's no pressure—it’s your choice! Adjusting takes time for everyone, so let’s be patient with each other.
  
  Food & Mealtimes – If you have dietary preferences, please tell us. We’d love for you to help with small tasks like setting the table or doing dishes. If you enjoy cooking, feel free to share a dish from your home country!
  
  Respect the Schedule – Please be mindful of meal and activity times. If you won’t be home, just give us a heads-up. We’re not your parents, but we do care about you!
  
  Embrace Differences – Things may be different from what you're used to—food, routines, house rules—but that’s part of the experience. Different doesn’t mean bad!
  
  Respect the Home – This isn’t a hotel, and we appreciate everyone doing their part. Keep your room and shared spaces tidy.
  
  EXPLORING & ACTIVITIES IN YOUR FREE TIME
  There’s plenty to do in your spare time! If you love climbing, the stunning cliffs of La Mussara and Montsant are nearby. Prefer the beach? You’ll find several beautiful sandy ones just a short drive away. For culture lovers, Barcelona is only an hour away, and if you're interested in Roman history, the ancient city of Tarragona is right next door.
  
  If you enjoy swimming, our village has a 25-meter pool open to visitors (from June to September). There are also gyms and sports centers nearby if you like to stay active.
  
  For hiking enthusiasts, trails start right at our doorstep, offering incredible routes through nature. If you're into mountain biking, there's a local group always ready to hit the trails!

  You'll have your own private room and share a bathroom with the kids. We’ll also provide three daily meals—a continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
