They could see at first hand the lifestyle of an Expat British person in Italy. I could introduce the visitor to people in the local community where he or she could learn some elementary Italian. I used to work in British politics and so would be happy to share something of my experience working in public life.
I have a small dog, Eddie, who I would appreciate being looked after when I go out for long periods. I am not a technophobe but I could with some computer assistance. I am a rotten cook and so would like the volunteer to cook. There is a communal garden that needs attention every now and then. Our house is in the Monteverde Vecchio district of Rome, near the Janiculum Hill.
