We are an outdoor day spa nestled in the heart of Cambodia’s beautiful nature, right by the famous Kampot River.
My partner and I are Canadians in our 40s. We don’t have children, but we do have two wonderful dogs—one is a lively, needy puppy, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs!
We started this project seven years ago, pouring our hearts into building a place that feels like home. Our team is made up entirely of local villagers—mainly women with families—who now have steady work opportunities close to home, allowing them to support their loved ones while staying connected to their communities.
Over the past nine years living in Cambodia, we’ve discovered many hidden gems, and we love welcoming new people and sharing these wonderful places with them.
Our spa is well-loved by both travelers and locals, but we’re looking for help to reach even more people through social media and online presence.
Our staff has been with us since day one, so we’ve grown into one big, supportive family.

We’re looking for creative, hands-on volunteers to help strengthen our online presence and support the guest experience at our peaceful spa in Cambodia.
If you have skills in branding, SEO, photography, content creation, social media, and hospitality, we’d love your input!
Tasks may include:
• Creating and editing photo/video content
• Social media planning and posting
• Brainstorming marketing ideas and brand development
• Improving SEO and online visibility
• Interacting with guests and answering questions
This is a great opportunity to contribute your talents while learning how a small wellness business operates in Cambodia. Work is expected, but the vibe is calm—perfect for travelers who want to pause and participate in something meaningful.
Please note: We are not a guesthouse, and you won’t be staying with other Workawayers—this is a quiet, professional space with a focus on well-being and respectful collaboration.

What to Expect During Your Stay
We have one private cabin for our Workaway helper—so you’ll have your own quiet space with no other volunteers at the same time. The cabin is rustic but comfortable, with a double bed, mosquito net, fan, and hammock. You’ll also have access to a full kitchen and shared bathroom.
We’re located in a peaceful rural area, about 10 km from the city center—ideal for travelers looking to slow down, connect with nature, and contribute meaningfully.
You’ll be helping an estimated 25 hours per week, spread over 5 days, with 2 days off to relax or explore. Most of the help will take place in the afternoons, so you can assist with guest interaction if needed.
We provide local ingredients for your meals—you’ll need to be comfortable cooking for yourself. For lunch, you can either cook or enjoy a typical meal with the staff (local, village-style food).

• Decent Wi-Fi
• Bicycles and a paddleboard for your free time
• End-of-day saunas and occasional board games
This is not a guesthouse or hostel, so it’s calm and low-key. If you enjoy being active, having space to think, and getting involved without needing constant entertainment or company, this is a great spot to drop your bags and feel at home.

The spa is located about 10 km outside of town, so getting around means hopping on a scooter or using tuk-tuks when needed. We also have bicycles you can use for nearby rides. I usually go into town at least once a week, and you’re welcome to join me.
For socializing, Arcadia Guesthouse is just a 5-minute walk away, a great spot to meet other travelers and locals.
Kampot is a charming town roughly 2.5 hours from Phnom Penh, 3 hours from the islands, and 45 minutes from Kep, a peaceful fishing village by the sea.
The community here is warm and diverse, with people from around the world, making it easy to make new friends. Nearby, you can explore salt fields, Bokor Mountain, banana plantations, and famous pepper farms. Kampot also offers plenty of yoga and other classes around town to keep you active and engaged.

Marlow Is the new addition to our family. He's a puppy Golden Retriever. He was abandoned at the dog sanctuary as a baby because he was sick. He's fully recovered and full of energy.
