From small fixit projects to fire mitigation & clearing trails, there’s always meaningful work to be done. Nearby, Slocan Lake , the river & trails offer spots to unwind, .

I was Born & raised in Aotearoa NZ & have resided on this property for over 20 years ..
I love to Travel , Teach the Art of Play cirque shops , throw Visuals , play guitar , sing & Create random acts of Art & Play along the way.
Very much involved with the slocan valley community .
My most recent project is creating fabric bags inter generational community sewing events , that can be used & re used thruout the valley ... keeping excess bags & fabrics from the landfill,

Hello, fellow workawayers! We invite you to be a part of the Perryland journey and contribute to our rustic sanctuary's revival in the captivating Slocan Valley.
Projects & Skills Needed:
Handy fix it folk : We're looking for people to help with various projects, including assisting with fixing porches, stairs, & help building small structures like a woodshed.
General help : From trail clearing to painting, any handy skills will be highly appreciated to maintain the beauty of Perryland.
Accommodation & Experience:
Stay in our cozy strawbale hobbit house, nestled in a sunny meadow, offering glamping-like comfort and off-grid living. Embrace the back-to-the-land lifestyle, disconnect from the world, and reconnect with nature's wonders.
Your host, a passionate Kiwi with a background in circus arts and VJing, & love for the slocan waters , tending to her flowers & travel will guide you during your stay …
