Descrição
Hi, I am Hugo, owner of a small hostel in Mexico City. I am looking for someone who can help in the daily tasks in the hostel, cleaning, entertaining guests, managing and creating content for social media, etc. We love creative people such as musicians, designers, architects, painters, dancers, chefs, film makers, and so on. Best of all, we have managed to attract this kind of visitors!
--- We are starting a project that involves fashion, so currently looking for experienced fashion designers ---
I know fashion most of the times is about glamour, but what about the normal daily life? We are looking for someone who is not afraid to start from scratch, a long corporative career might not work, but someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. Being able to design a custom garment might not be enough or creating a collection/brand, but if you can picture a path to encourage a community to move from manufacturing cheap clothes to manufacturing affordable trendy clothes... Lets do it!
--- Contact me for more details about this fashion project ---
We are located in the best area of Mexico City since most of the common attractions are at a walking distance few minutes away. We are exactly between Juarez and Roma neighborhood, two of the most trendy areas in the city. You can find everything from little local food restaurants to hidden secret bars in the area.
I am an industrial designer, and own a workshop where we design and manufacture furniture to sell them online. Basically we build everything around the hostel and keep working on making improvements. So if you are interested in developing any kind of product or craft I am your man.
Our crew in the hostel include me, Claudia and Carmen. We take care of the 10 rooms and guests in the hostel. Also we have some guys who help with the maintenance of the building and with the construction of the furniture in workshop. Depending on the season of the year you might see them around the building or they might just come a few hours a day to fix broken things.Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

Tasks in the hostel are easy to manage, cleaning, helping guests and organizing activities
We are serious about cleanliness and clean several times a day the bathrooms, so keep in mind we expect a well done job in this area.
We offer free breakfast for our guests, and lately we have become famous for not giving the normal hostel breakfast such as oatmeal or cereal. Instead we cook something different each day which can include baking home made bread, poached eggs, avocado toast, chilaquiles, quesadillas... We actually put love on our breakfast and go one step beyond to cook creative and tasty recipes. If you like to cook you can always help us but it is not mandatory.
Guests usually need directions or suggestions for places to visit, They also are looking for some entertainment in our terrace so playing guitar will always give you extra points. If you are not into music, but can organize games or simply are friendly and a great conversation starter you are the right candidate.
Other tasks requiered a bit of technicall skills, such as social media managing and helping with the building and maintenance of the place. If you are an expert on these fields please let me know. Also, if you are able to teach something we can find a way to organize workshops, we have enough space here for creating a nice community.Idiomas

Workawayers will be staying in the shared dorms we have in the hostel. During high season it is possible that we will need to create an extra room for you with an air matress, but this is rare.
We can offer you breakfast for free and you can use kitcheware for cooking your lunch or dinner. Please keep in mind we can only offer breakfast for you in the same schedule as guests take it (9.30 - 10 am) If you wish to cook in our kitchen you will need to buy your food for lunch and dinner.Algo mais...
You can find lots of things to see and do close to our hostel. Museums, galleries, bars, venues, cinemas, shopping malls, parks, bouldering centers, etc. Also there are many places to visit for day trips such as: Nevado de Toluca, monarca butterflies sanctuary, fireflies sanctuary, Taxco, Tepoztlan, Puebla, etc. If you need to know if a place you want to visit is close don´t hesitate in asking me.
