  I am Felix, am writing from Kenya, a qualified permaculture teacher and designer. I completed a full two weeks of PDC in 2018. After the training, I was deeply inspired and realized that I should start a community training center to offer training to several youths and adults in our community. The result is for me to have a mission of teaching and facilitating permaculture knowledge and technology as well as syntropic agroforestry to my community.
  About my team
  We have four people employed on our farm and two volunteers from our local area who are interested in knowing more about permaculture and occasionally help on the farm, which constitutes seven people (I included). The four members under the pay slip are paid from the proceeds of the farm.
  
  
  For two years now, most people in the community have benefited from this practical and sensible way of living. I am proud to say I am a founder of a community permaculture project. Our mission is to create a better everyday life for many people in our villages and communities and to work towards an environment without poverty. My work is to introduce permaculture practices and policies that will support the creation of prosperous, sustainable organic farmers by reconnecting our surrounding community with three permaculture ethics (PEOPLE’S CARE, EARTH CARE, AND FAIR SHARE). I am trying to create the world as an interconnected set of dynamic patterns and systems; I achieved this by teaching permaculture to small groups.
  
  I aim to ensure that new farming development serves the needs of local community farmers constantly facing critical changes and low investments. Through this permaculture project, we inform and empower individuals and communities through training using the knowledge of how permaculture-related agroecological practices backed by the science of Nature's design can put the power of the people back into the hands of many people. As manager of the organic farm, I would love to invite global volunteers so that they can come and help volunteer at our farm so that we can produce abundant food in the community. The organic farm is based in Kochia Village, Homa-Bay County.
  
  The village also neighbors Lake Victoria, Kodera Forest, and Kano plane, ideal for fun and beach activities. We aim to create a beacon of hope, inspiration, and learning for our people in Kenya and worldwide.

  Travellers would learn more about our culture (Luo culture) .They would also learn more about traditional way of life.Travalers who are interested in climbing mountains would travel to mount Kenya ,their several areas of visit around our area such as Ruma National park , Rusing'a high land and kodera forest.

  Since my farm is extensive, it is essential to keep in touch with Workawayers so they can help me with volunteers from different countries. They can help me with gardening and permaculture work together with computer activities.

  Acomodação

  We have well and good room for our visitors. And food taken in our home is 97% organic. We offer a free room for our visitors, and we direct visitors where necessary. We also provide a tour guide.
  
  We have a balanced diet food timetable that is certified organic. Additionally, we also have a day of culture night where Workawayers are allowed to share information on the types of food and diet that they are used to in their home place, so if need be can be incorporated into the timetable. We have Luo traditional food, fish from Lake Victoria, Black Nightshade, spider plants, and other indigenous vegetables. Similarly, there are various delicacies that the Workawayers are allowed to taste and try.

  Visitors can travel via Moto car or matatus whenever they want to travel, there is also the Kisumu international airport which is easy accessible. During time off we can have culture night with our Workawayers.
