  We’re a family of 4 that just moved to a small farm village in South Iceland, called Þykkvibær. The house we moved in to needs a lot of TLC and we have been super busy setting up our business so we’d really like to have someone handy stay with us for a while that can do the odd DIY projects around the house. This might include rearranging bedrooms, fixing wardrobes, setting up shelves, painting and perhaps a bit of carpentry, if there’s knowledge and interest. This might also mean just chill and watch TV with our 10 & 11 year old boys if we’re busy with an event or something.
  
  **Please note: we do not ask for help in our businesses - only around our house. No work will take place where paying guests are residing.**
  
  We’re both 35 year old, been married 3,5 years and live with our 2 sons/stepsons and then have a daughter/stepdaughter living in North Iceland who often visits. We live on a farm where we run a restaurant that’s only open to events and a Glamping stay. We also both have other jobs. We have a Great-Dane dog who’s a big cuddler, but you’ll have to fight her for space on the couch😂

  We lived in the UK for 2/3 years so our boys are fluent in English which is really good for anyone wanting to learn Icelandic because they love to chat. We’re both from the North of Iceland, born and raised, one in a big town (big in Iceland), and the other on a farm so we do all the traditional Icelandic things and we’re happy to share the joy with others!
