  Ola, and boa tarde from the Azores.
  We, Kiki and Jürgen, both over 55, have been living in Portugal on the beautiful island of Sao Miguel (Azores) for over 10 years.
  
  We live here in the countryside, with a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the volcano Lago de Fogo in the background, on the north coast of the island of Sao Miguel. It is a beautiful place with a natural garden, a small greenhouse and some fruit trees and a large natural forest. The property is located outside, a very quiet and natural area, the nearest town about 5 km is Ribeira Grande and Rabo de Peixe. Thanks to the subtropical climate on the island, our garden thrives all year round, but so do the weeds! That's why we would like a little extra help now and then. There is always something to do on our large forest and meadow property with residential house and holiday home / camp house.
  
  You should be animal-loving, nature-loving and weatherproof. Rain, wind and sun change several times an hour. We have four friendly dogs and two cats that are part of the family. So we can only accept people who like both.

  Wir, Kiki und Jürgen, beide Ü 55 leben seit über 10 Jahren in Portugal auf der wunderschönen Insel Sao Miguel (Azoren).
  
  Wir leben hier auf dem Lande, mit Blick auf den Atlantik und den Vulkan Lago de Fogo im Hintergrund, an der Nordküste der Insel Sao Miguel. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort mit einem natürlichen Garten, einem kleinen Gewächshaus und einigen Obstbäumen und einem großen natürlichen Wald. Das Grundstück liegt außerhalb, eine sehr ruhige und natürliche Gegend, die nächste Stadt ca. 5 km ist Ribeira Grande und Rabo de Peixe.
  Dank des subtropischen Klimas auf der Insel gedeiht unser Garten das ganze Jahr über, aber auch das Unkraut! Deshalb hätten wir gerne ab und zu etwas zusätzliche Hilfe. Auf unserem großen Wald- und Wiesengrundstück mit Wohnhaus und Ferienhaus / Camp haus gibt es immer was zu tun.
  
  Du solltest tierfest (tierlieb) sein, naturverbunden und wetterfest. Regen, Wind und Sonne wechseln mehrfach in der Stunde. Wir haben vier freundliche Hunde und zwei Katzen, die Teil der Familie sind. Wir können also nur Leute aufnehmen, die beides mögen.

  We live in a unique area of Portugal, the Azores, the island of Sao Miguel with its Micro Climate where passion fruit, bananas, avocados and other tropical fruits grow and thrive.
  There are beaches, hot springs, many hiking trails, a tea plantation, a pineapple plantation, a pottery workshop and much more to discover on the island.
  Enjoy a relaxing time lazing around or getting active. You are also welcome to work remotely. If you have transport, it is better as we live 5 km outside the town of Ribeira Grande on a large plot of land. There is a bus stop nearby (500 meters). Ribeira Grande is the surf capital, there is also a surf school.
  We both work at home, and are close by if you need anything.
  
  Wir leben in einer einzigartigen Gegend Portugals, auf den Azoren, der Insel Sao Miguel mit ihrem Mikroklima, in dem Maracuja, Bananen, Avocados und andere tropische Früchte wachsen und gedeihen.
  Auf der Insel gibt es Strände, heiße Quellen, viele Wanderwege, eine Teeplantage, eine Ananasplantage, eine Töpferwerkstatt und vieles mehr zu entdecken.
  Genieße eine entspannte Zeit faulenze oder werde aktiv. Gerne kannst du auch remote arbeiten. Wenn du ein Transportmittel hast, ist es besser, da wir 5 km außerhalb der Stadt Ribeira Grande auf einem große Grundstück leben. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe (500 Meter). Ribeira Grande ist die Surfhauptstadt, es gibt auch eine Surfschule.
  Wir arbeiten beide zu Hause, und sind in der Nähe, wenn du etwas brauchen

  We are looking for nice people who need some time off and want to get involved. We need you e.g. in the household, garden and forest. Ideally you are a craftsman, carpenter, joiner, welder, painter - simply craft-oriented. You are also welcome to be a software developer with craft ambitions. There are many smaller projects waiting...
  We are looking for friendly, open-minded and reliable people who like to work with plants and nature and can take good care of the space they live in. But most of all we are looking for someone to help us with our smaller projects. Sometimes we will work together, but we need someone to do the tasks independently. We need help around the private house or the garden / forest and no help with room rental is required!
  We would like you to be able to work independently and manually, and in return we would provide you with accommodation and would be happy to cook and do things together. We don't provide food and would ask you to cook yourself, but we are happy to share anything that grows in the garden or that we make ourselves (jam, bread...).
  If you have fun and creativity you are very welcome.
  
  Wir suchen nette Menschen, die mal eine Auszeit brauchen und sich einbringen. Wir brauchen Dich z.b. im Haushalt, Garten, und Wald. Am besten bist du Handwerker, Tischler, Schreiner, Schweißer, Maler – einfach handwerklich orientiert. Gerne auch ein Softwareentwickler mit handwerklichen Ambitionen. Es warten viele kleinere Projekte…
  Wir suchen freundliche, offene und zuverlässige Menschen, die gerne mit Pflanzen und der Natur arbeiten und sich gut um den Raum kümmern können, in dem sie leben. Vor allem suchen wir aber jemanden der uns bei unseren kleineren Projekten unterstützt. Manchmal werden wir zusammen arbeiten, wir brauchen aber jemanden der die Aufgaben selbstständig tut. Hilfe benötigen wir rund um das Privathaus oder den Garten / Wald und es wird keine Hilfe bei der Zimmervermietung verlangt!
  Selbstständige und manuelle Arbeit wünschen wir uns, dafür würden wir dir die Unterkunft stellen und auch gerne mal zusammen kochen und etwas unternehmen. Wir bieten kein Essen an und würden dich bitten, selbst zu kochen, aber wir teilen gerne alles, was im Garten wächst oder was wir selbst herstellen (Marmelade, Brot…).

  You will live on our property in our camp house with a beautiful terrace and sea view. There is a simple room with a bed (1 m x 2 m) and a shelf and clothes rail.
  You can prepare simple meals and stay in the well-equipped kitchen. There is a washroom with shower, sink and toilet.
  Bed linen and towels are provided by us.
  
  Wohnen wirst du auf unserem Grundstück in unserem Camp Haus mit schöner Terrasse und Meerblick. Es gibt ein einfaches Zimmer mit Bett (1 m x 2 m) und Regal und Kleiderstange.
  In der gut ausgestatteten Küche kannst du dir einfache Mahlzeiten zubereiten und dich aufhalten. Es gibt einen Waschraum mit Dusche, Waschbecken und Toilette.
  Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden von uns bereitgestellt.
