Thank you Julia and Finja! We thoroughly enjoyed your time with us and your help on the farm. I know the weather was temperamental and we appreciated you working hard through whatever Mother Nature gave us. We hope you enjoy your next stays and hope to see you again before you go back to Germany! Mickie misses you!

We stayed with Pam & Ken for 2 months and it was an amazing time!
This was our first workaway experience and we did quarantine here.
We got to live in a nice little cabin right next to the main house with another german girl who we quickly became friends with. So we had our own bathroom and kitchen (which we didn't really need) and our own
… read more private room.
Our tasks were mostly gardening: picking flowers, weeding, clearing out the vegetable garden, getting all the flowers out at the end of the season and stacking firewood.
On Fridays we cooked supper.
Pam is an excellent cook! We always had fresh vegetables and fruit and the meat was mostly from their own animals.
One of our Highlights was Thanksgiving dinner where we met the whole family. It was a very nice evening with good food and fun games.
One time Pam took us to an amazing pumpkin farm where we had a lot of fun together. On our way back she showed us where she grew up, which was also very interesting.
The farm is one hour from Kamloops and the Wells Gray provincial park is neraby too, but there is no public transport, so we had to rely on our friends with a car to explore the beautiful area.
Pam & Ken are very heartfelt people and they really treated us like members of their family, so we always felt welcome there.
Hope to meet you again soon!

Staying in the farm with Pam and Ken and grandpa Colin, was one of the highlights of my trip to Canada, i always had total freedom to do my chores and enjoy the beautiful farm, i love how pretty and well organized is everything and learn a lot from them, and what it means to really have a farm life, and all the effort that requires to keep it

The last weeks of July I spend at Pam and Ken's mixed flower and hay farm. Never did I dare to expect such a great stay! Kevin and Cassie spent a month on the farm. They were the most amazing help, and great company too! They came with little farm or project experience and jumped right in with both feet. There were many jobs from the mundane of moving mulch and weeding to construction of a greenhouse from scratch. (Bending, cutting, and drilling pipe, using a

They were excellent housemates - very courteous and helpful. They are truly missed - by us and all our pets - and would be welcome back anytime!

We had the pleasure of staying with Pam & Ken for one month on their lovely farm. It was an awesome experience from start to finish. Pam picked us up and dropped us off from the bus station making the transition as easy as possible.
We arrived the beginning of April, so just as everything was starting to grow again! While staying at their place

Neither of us knew the first thing about construction, power tools, or much about gardening but Pam and Ken were both very accommodating and helpful for anything we needed and answered our millions of questions with joy. From the start we felt welcomed and comfortable staying with them, and by the end of our time, we felt more like a part of the family.
They have a beautiful property with lots to do and experience..you will never have a dull moment. On days off there is plenty to go and explore, again, with the tips and advice from Pam and Ken. We will miss them both and all of the animals around!! It was our first workaway experience, and it couldn’t have gone better.
Another HUGE thank you to you both for everything you did for us while we were with you. We both look forward to when we can come back and visit :)Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

We planed to stay two weeks at Pam's farm, but becauce of different reasons we spend a month there. Thank you very much for beeing so flexible!!
The time at the farm was awesome. We did a lot of gardening. We also feed the animals daily and cleaned their stables.
Every day we had a lot of fun and always we did our working times like it's best

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay Caroline. We really enjoyed having you help out. I just spent two wonderful weeks at the farm - thank you, Pam, and your family for hosting me!
The farm is beautiful and cosy, and as it was the first stay of my trip, the perfect place to start my summer in Canada. Pam and her family are very friendly and welcoming people who just included me in their daily life. I even got to attend the

The pets are so adorable, the two dogs of course but also the horses are very sociable and I even started liking cats. :)
My jobs included mainly working in the garden, irrigation of the hayfields, and playing with the dogs, but also lots of different other little things so that it really never got boring and I rarely did the same thing all day long. Plus, there was a good combination of exhausting and relaxing tasks, and I could work pretty much self dependently.
In short, I had a great time and was quite sad when I travelled on to my next farm after I had just settled down, so I can recommend you to stay a little longer than I did! Just contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks again, Pam, and good luck for everything!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Thank you Johannes! I so enjoyed having you and Luca. The "pets" - all of them - are missing you both. Your contribution to the farm was tremendous - your willingness to do anything, to do a good job, coupled with a great attitude ( and a great appetite) helped a lot. I'm sorry you are not here to reap the rewards from the garden you weeded

We both highly recommend this farm to you, because there is literally nothing to complain about!
