Our original farm was destroyed by Hurricane Helene.We are rebuilding daily with the help of amazing volunteers like you!❤️Fences are back up.Garden is
Growing!
We have a 5 rescued goats now and various ages/sexes of peafowl. Rescue Dogs n cats too.
Daily chores take up a big part of
The day.Tending to animals,fixing gates,cleaning and weeding/watering the garden are needed.Bigger building projects are usually happening as well.Most Skill sets are Useful with a good
Attitude:)
We share a meal together on our workdays.Everyone is expected to contribute.We will provide some food for other meals with a solid workday of 5 hours.
We are organically minded (and allergic)So we do not allow any synthetic chemicals/fragrances or smoking on the property.

We are working in the garden and repairing structures, cleaning up debris still.Hurricane Helene washed away all of our trees,plants and garden.

Connor and Pada are a package deal.They are polite folks and interesting conversationalists.They prefer to work together even on 1 person tasks. Mark is a nice guy but sensitive and has trouble focusing on tasks.He struggles to work independently.He needs consistent clear guidance. And often needs naps during the work day.He does things his way(which can be good).we would have parted amicably but he left early and did not finish the agreed upon work:(

Angeline worked for me on my urban goat farm.She cleaned up stalls and helped care for the other animals as well(dogs n cats n chickens)She did some pet sitting and housecleaning too.I highly recommend her as a worker and lovely human being.It is clear she loves animals & is conscientious & easy to work with!
