Gerhard is a very nice person, experienced in life and great in discussions. His knowledge and culturel behavior is a true bonus and he is the the kind of person where 1 plus 1 is far more than 2 ;-)
He is consistent with his work and doesn't stop until he has finished, very flexible, interested and optimistic and never afraid of doing something
… read more new and challenging in the way that nothing is too difficult, hard or boring.
An adult person, independent and aware of what it takes to be both a good guest and worker where you do not have to point out in details what is going and expected.
And sure, let's stay in contact. You were never dull - but had your own way and manners which I liked very much.

Hannu is an interesting, flexible and very skilled person in many ways - he's excellent in building and other special tasks. He was good company too - always very positive and thoroughly in every way. He's work was really excellent. In a week he fixed the outside facades of my house and painted it, not stopping until the work was done. And besides

Was so great to stay in Susanne's place and help with painting. She has very beautiful house and big garden, communication with Susanne was excellent and she made delicious meals.

I had a great time staying with Susanne and helping around the house. She has a beautiful home and I was lucky to spend time at her summer house which was also amazing. I really enjoyed the work and company Susanne gave, as well as the lovely Lucca! Thank you so much, it was amazing!

… read more inside and outside the house, had great talks and taught Lucca (the dog) german :-) I had always options to choose which "work" I would like to do and had therefore the opportunity to stay a lot outside (my choosing). Susanne got never tired of introducing and explaining the danish way of life, without her I would never had the chance to learn and see so much in such a short time.
I truly miss you and Lucca! You and your family are always welcome in Hamburg and I´m looking forward to see you again!

I enjoyed your company, your behavior, our discussions and all the work you found out to do - mostly by yourself. Your intuition, empathy and behavior is extraordinary and I always trusted you. You're the kind of person who tries to do a lot extra, not being satisfied with the
average result and you're moral is really high.
And you're certainly not dull. You are humorous and we had a lot of fun and you've made so many friends at my place. My dog Lucca adores you and your interest in nature and birds, - my friends and family too. I'm sure we we'll see one another again and I will never forget our two months together.

Inside : cooking (baking bread, making marmalade, ice cream...), cleaning (at home and at the summerhouse), organising, preparing some walls before painting,…It was such a pleasure to be active at your place, working and helping you !
Thank you again, because I have learnt so much with you, in different domains (culture, nature, countries, travels, languages, people, food…). I improved my english like never before.
I met your friends and your family. It was really nice to spend some afternoons, some evenings, sharing, relaxing, talking. Always in a good mood, with energy and a good humor ! We laughed a lot, I will never forget this period of my life.
We also have practiced sport together, it was really nice every time. Thank you for your generosity and for welcoming me as you did ! It was so easy to feel at home from the very first days.

Georgian fixed a lot of different things in the garden, a mess in my shed, some carpentry and took part in at lot of social and sportive activities with my other workawayer Claire from France - always being interested, active and laughing.

My English vocabulary is to small to define how good my workaway experience was at Susanne's place.
First is that if you are lucky to be a guest here,she really means what she says in her profile,that is; not too much work, healthy food, lots of sport,introducing you to people and places, showing the Danish way to do things and if you like

The house is big and stylish at the edge of the forest with a small lake and a river at the door step, with big gardens and hundred years old trees which makes the place unique . And then is the summer hause with the berry garden and hundreds years old house close to the sea with endless beaches and amazing forests.
Thanks Susanne for the excellent meals, long walks in the forest and at the beach with Luca , the super energetic dog, and the many gym classes .
So, for my first introduction to workaway the 3 weeks at Susanne's place was something to cherish and forever remember.
