I had an absolutely fantastic time staying with Judy, Clark and the girls! I stayed 10 days and wished I could have stayed longer - if I'm passing, I will most definitely be popping by for 'morning tea' and a catch up. They made me feel instantly welcome and part of the family, willing and ready to share insights on daily life on a busy farm. I

Judy explained all of the tasks to me, gave me all the tools I needed and accompanied me where she was able to. I absolutely loved being in the quiet countryside and enjoying the beautiful landscape whilst getting to know their many pets. Judy and Clark also gave me the opportunity to accompany them on the farm and to help with the lambing season in full swing. Judy is an amazing cook! I was inspired to try many recipes from mashed potato cake to homemade chipotle mayonnaise - yummy! I also loved getting to know both girls who were such fun - they taught me a lot from how to drive a quad bike to the best way to bottle feed a lamb! Overall, I had such an amazing time and learnt so much about farm life and life in New Zealand during my stay. Thank you again!Feito pelo anfitrião para o Workawayer (Hannah)
Hannah is such a bubbly, friendly and fun person. We loved having her to stay here with us. She fitted in just like family and was amazing with our girls - they really enjoyed her company. Her teaching experience also meant that she was fantastic at helping with their homework and they were very enthusiastic about doing this with her.

Hannah got my gardens tidied up brilliantly and worked well on her own. We also did some vegetable gardening and it was great to get that sorted and ready for planting.
Hannah loves animals and it is true that cats are her thing and particularly drawn to her - our cat Ivy just loved her.
We were sad to see Hannah go and we are secretly hoping she will come back and stay again before she leaves NZ.

We have spent 10 days at Judy and Clark’s farm.

Judy and Clark have thousands of sheep and cows, and for us the farm was the typical New Zealand farm, that was what we wanted to see. The house is in the middle of the farm and we have lived at the familial rythm.
We spent a really nice stay.
We did various and interesting jobs as weeding the mustard in the crops, weeding around the replanted native plants near the river, garden maintenance, firewood chopping, fences repairing, 1.000 sheep moving, we had also the opportunity to see the cows being ultrasounded and Judy and Clark even trusted us to encode numbers of size and weight of the rams in the Excell file when Peter was scanning their chops (despite our approximative english).
We didn't had car, Judy and Clark took us to different places. Clark and the girls have showed us how to catch crayfish, were to spend the night in the tent on the property, that were good moments ! Judy showed us beautiful portion of the river and a nice walk in the forest, and gave to us some of her recipes :-)
Big kiss to all of you, we don't forget Badger. Thank you for your warm welcoming !

From the moment Jack arrived we felt at ease with him! He is a very friendly and gregarious guy who loves a laugh and is always smiling and happy. We had a lot of fun whilst he was here and he fitted in with our family life easily.

He was happy to work on his own if needed and just got stuck in and help where necessary.
We had a lot of fun cooking meals together (he is a great cook! - he made us risotto, tiramisu (x2) and pasta) and had many interesting conversations about Italy - the food, places to visit and his family. We are looking forward to visiting him and his family in Italy one day.
