Hi! I’m Tom. After six years of living in London, I moved back to Estonia to start my own small eco-minded tourism project in Häädemeeste, in the south-western corner of Estonia.
This place has now been operating for five summers. What started as an idea and a personal connection to my family land has grown into a peaceful little place with five small wooden cabins, located only around 300 metres from the sea.
The land has been in my family for generations. My great-grandfather built his farmhouse here in 1920. I feel very lucky and responsible to continue developing this place with respect for nature, the local community and the history of the land.
The location is beautiful and peaceful. The sea is close by, and there is a lot of nature to explore nearby, including Tolkuse bog, Kabli Bird Station, Nigula Nature Reserve and the quiet coastline around Häädemeeste.
What kind of help I need?
The main help needed is with the everyday running of the cabins during the summer season. Tasks may include:
- cleaning and preparing cabins between guests
- welcoming guests and helping with check-ins and check-outs
- taking payments when needed
- keeping the outdoor areas tidy
- helping with small practical tasks around the property
I am looking for someone responsible, friendly and independent, ideally with some previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, tourism or guest communication.
You do not need to work all the time - the usual help is around 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I am a very easy-going person, and you will have plenty of free time to explore the village, enjoy nature, go to the seaside, read, relax or discover the area.
I speak fluent English and Estonian. I care about nature, simple living, sustainability and creating a calm place where people can slow down and reconnect with themselves and the natural environment.
I would be happy to welcome motivated people who enjoy peaceful surroundings, like meeting guests and are willing to help with the daily rhythm of a small nature retreat by the sea.

Travellers will have the chance to experience a peaceful and authentic part of Estonia, surrounded by forests, nature, and a slower countryside lifestyle.
They can learn about local life in Pärnumaa, Estonian nature, sauna culture, seasonal rhythms, and how a small nature retreat is developed and managed. Depending on their interests, they can also gain practical experience in hospitality, guest communication, preparing cabins, check-in and check-out, cleaning routines, light maintenance, gardening, and small outdoor improvement projects.
This is also connected to sustainability, nature-based tourism, and simple living, so travellers can learn more about creating a welcoming guest experience in a natural setting while respecting the environment.
There will also be opportunities to meet local people, visit nearby places, share meals and conversations, and exchange ideas about different cultures, ways of living, travel experiences, and personal projects. We hope travellers leave with new practical skills, good memories, and a deeper connection to Estonian nature and local life.
Ajuda
We are looking for help during the summer season with different practical tasks here.
The main help would be connected to hospitality and guest experience, such as preparing the cabins before guests arrive, greeting guests, helping with check-in and check-out, cleaning after stays, changing bed linen, keeping the outdoor and indoor areas tidy, and making sure the place feels welcoming and well cared for.
There may also be some light maintenance and improvement work around the property, depending on your skills and interests. This could include small repairs, painting, gardening, firewood preparation, organising storage areas, or helping with simple outdoor projects.
We are a small nature escape, so the tasks can vary from day to day. We appreciate someone who is reliable, independent, practical, and attentive to detail. Experience in hospitality, cleaning, maintenance, gardening, or DIY is very welcome, but most important is a positive attitude and willingness to help.

Farmhouse is surrounded by beautiful nature, come and explore yourself!
There are so many places to discover close to Häädemeeste like: Tolkuse bog, Kabli Bird Station, Nigula bog, Kabli beach etc.
Pärnu is 40km (1h by bus) and closest busstop is only 5min walk away.
