Descrição

From time to time, we need some help at our place with gardening and weeding, some general cleaning, sometimes some small maintenance projects or painting and/or cooking meals.

We live close to central Wellington (20-minute walk to the Botanic Gardens, 30-minute walk to CBD), and close to some beautiful native bush. We are a family of two working parents with two older teens (currently not living at home), and two pets: Louie, a Cavalier King Charles and Pomeranian cross, almost 2 years old, and Ivy, a very independent cat, who mainly tolerates humans just to get fed, but occasionally seeks out a warm body to sit on.

We've travelled a lot over the years, and love meeting other travellers. Please get in touch if this sounds like you and are think you can work fairly independently on those projects. Thanks!

Jan was lovely to host; friendly, creative and practical. While he was staying, he built a small fence and two gates to keep our dog from wandering off, using bits of scavenged loose timber. He also did several other small practical jobs and taught us a bit of Catalan. All the best for the South Island adventure.
