Hellooo!!! from New Zealand's Wild West Coast – Friendly Home in a Surf Community Near Auckland
We live at a surf beack on the wild west coast of New Zealand.
We have chickens, bees and wild garden a lot of bush, 2 dogs and love to surf.
Hi everyone,
We've been hosting Workawayers for many years and continue to genuinely enjoy the experience of meeting people from around the world. Some of our past Workawayers have become lifelong friends, and we look forward to welcoming someone new into our home.
We live in beautiful Piha on New Zealand's rugged west coast, about an hour from Auckland. Piha is a small surf community of around 500 people, surrounded by native bush, black sand beaches, waterfalls, and stunning coastal scenery. It's a wonderful place if you love nature, hiking, surfing, photography, or simply slowing down and enjoying a relaxed lifestyle.
We are looking for someone to paint some outside areas, and someone who can do some garden work and can cook!
We have chickens, bees a cockatiel and two poodle crosses who are training to be therapy dogs.
Magic mountains to hike all around, beach super close.
We would prefer someone who can stay for approximately two weeks.
In return, you'll experience life in one of New Zealand's most beautiful coastal communities, enjoy a relaxed family environment, and have plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding beaches, bush walks, and west coast scenery.
