Descrição
We are a family that lives on the country side, between 2 villages. Approx 40 min south from Stockholm. Fredrik, owner of land and house, taking care of the forest and also help other land owner to take care of their forest. I, Christina, work part time with horses as trainer and international judge. Together have we 6 children but they all grown up but come and visit during weekends.
We have a quite big house and garden. We are very close to our own small lake there we swim and fish. We also have a boat in Mälaren, a big lake. On the estate is it also a boarding stable for horses and we also renting out houses. It´s not rowdy here but its people close around.
Both Fredrik and I are very active and social people and like to have family and friends around us. We like to have people for BBQ and dinners.
The area we live in is very historical and have lots of interesting things to see.

We are an open and warm family who likes to meet new people. Our surroundings is very interesting and lots of cultural things to explore. We live in the heart of Södermanland, close to Stockholm. You will stay in your own house, only one room, with open fire, shower, toilet and its new renovated. We can offer friendly and nice stay with us. We like good food and happily share our hospitality to our guests.

We are very close to a canoe renting place with amazing nature. visit the Royal castle Gripsholm. Visit Mariefred, a very old village. also visit Stallarholmen, lots of interesting hand craft.

Whilma and… read more Alexandra are just angels who are able to make you smile and laugh all the time. They have wonderful personalities that I really admire and so beautiful values: they always smile and treat you with the highest respect, and they are extremely attentive all the time so that we would have the best experience ever. And we did. Thank so much, we won't forget you!
Fredrick is also a great person with a warm heart and a great sense of humour. It's one of those persons you always feel comfortable with and you can be sure you are always going to have a great time with him. We would also like to thank Urban for his amazing help from the very first moment, we felt really welcomed with him and his beautiful wife. Thanks for so many beautiful gestures with us!

And Kicki is just one of the most nicest person you can ever meet. She is attentive for everything, always making sure everything was great. She would all the time help us and she had so many beautiful gestures with us all the time. I feel I will never be able to thank her enough for opening the doors of her house and her heart as she did from the very first moment, I will truly miss you. And of course we won't forget any of the beautiful dogs, they are so kind and nice that it's really impossible not to fall in love with them. I will miss you, Tabita, Vesla, Simpson and Woolitz.

The place is the most beautiful paradise you can imagine. It is a cottage in the middle of a forest in Sweden surrounded by lakes you can swim in, amazing paths surrounded by huge trees... It is impossible to understand the beauty of the place until you sit down in the table outside the house with a warm coffee looking to an endless green landscape. If you love nature, you can't miss this place please. I won't forget the sunsets I saw, the feeling of swimming in a lake where there was no one or the sense of being alive when walking in some of the paths. I would also say that I believe it's better if you could come with somebody, so you can share everything with that person.
Of course you can also go easily to Mariefred (the closest town), which being honest is the most beautiful town I have ever been in. Sunsets in the lake there are just unforgettable. Besides, if you also want some city life, you have the chance to visit Stockholm in just one hour from the cottage. It is just an amazing city that's worth some visits.
So you have the most beautiful nature and if you feel like you want some city life, you have the chance to see Mariefred or the beautiful city of Stockholm (Gamla Stan is just breathtaking) in just one hour from the cottage. It can't be better.

The work was easy, they asked us to help walking the dogs, watering the plants, taking some weed out or painting. If I'm honest, it's the best work you can do because it was so nice and easy. I really enjoyed walking the dogs in the morning in nature and the sense of peacefulness while watering the plants.

I won't forget my days there, the feeling of happiness when seeing the place for the very first time and the great adventure I had the chance to live every single day with a family that could not be better to me. As I said, I feel that I won't ever thank you enough for giving to me the chance to live a dream that I was not even able to imagine. I won't ever forget you! Thank you and...see you soon!!!! :)
