  Privelack is located directly on the Elbe, 1.5 hours south of Hamburg. The project is created there. I am a sculptor and ceramicist and have lived here since 2017 until last December with my partner, who unfortunately passed away December 2023. It is a great wish of mine to continue realizing the project - but I need help. We have always started from an expanded concept of art - art includes our design in the garden, our interaction with nature and our view of humans as creative, creative beings. Art doesn't (only) take place in museums and theaters!
  
  I am 61 years old and live here with my dog ​​(who enjoys every walk).
  
  Privelack belongs to the Neuhaus district and only consists of a few farms - it is very quiet here - some people say that it is lonely - you have to like! If you understand silence as an opportunity to come to yourself and dedicate yourself to your own creation - then it is beautiful here.
  
  I earn my money as a educator and work 25 hours a week - on days like this I'm happy when someone takes care of the dog
  
  Direkt an der Elbe gelegen, 1,5 Stunden südlich von Hamburg liegt Privelack. Dort entsteht das Projekt. Ich bin Bildhauerin und Keramikerin und lebe hier seit 2017- mit meinem Lebenspartner, der leider im Dezember 2023 verstorben ist. Es ist ein grosser Wunsch von mir das Projekt weiter zu realisieren- aber dazu brauche ich Hilfe. Wir sind hier immer von einem erweiterten Kunstbegriff ausgegangen- Kunst umfasst unsere Gestaltung im Garten, unseren Umgang mit der Natur und unsere Sicht auf den Menschen als gestaltendes, kreatives Wesen. Kunst findet nicht (nur) in Museen und Theatersälen statt!
  
  Ich bin 61 Jahre alt und lebe hier mit meinem Hund (der sich über jeden Spaziergang freut)
  
  Privelack gehört zum Amt Neuhaus und besteht nur aus ein paar Höfen- es ist sehr ruhig hier- manche Menschen sagen, dass es einsam sei- das muss man mögen! Versteht man Stille als Möglichkeit zu sich zu kommen und sich dem eigenen Gestalten zu widmen- dann ist es wunderschön hier.
  
  Ich arbeite 25 Stunden in der Woche als Erzieherin - und an diesen Tagen bin ich immer froh, wenn sich jemand um den Hund kümmert,

  As already described, this is more of a space for contemplation and silence and is aimed at people who want to design and contribute to ensuring that the project can develop further. For me, cultural exchange is essential to making our world a little more peaceful - prejudices so often arise from ignorance. Creating something together and exchanging ideas is a valuable opportunity to understand each other's culture.
  I spent a year traveling in Turkey, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, India, Nepal - I worked in Moscow and lived in France - this shaped me and I am grateful for the many pictures that have accompanied me ever since. What is life like when it is different? My interest in others has always accompanied me.
  
  Wie schon beschrieben handelt es sich hier eher um einen Raum der Einkehr und Stille und richtet sich an Menschen, die Lust haben zu gestalten und beizutragen, dass das Projekt sich weiter entwickeln kann. Für mich ist kultureller Austausch wesentlich unsere Welt etwas friedlicher werden zu lassen- Vorurteile entstehen so oft aus Unwissen. Zusammen etwas zu schaffen im Austausch zu sein ist eine wertvolle Möglichkeit die Kultur des jeweils Anderen zu verstehen.
  Ich war ein Jahr auf Reisen, Türkei, Georgien, Kirgisien, Indien, Nepal- habe in Moskau gearbeitet und in Frankreich gelebt- dies hat mich geprägt und ich bin dankbar für die vielen Bilder, die mich seither begleiten. Wie ist das Leben, wenn es anders ist? Das Interesse an dem Anderen hat mich immer begleitet.

  The first projects coming up are the renovation of my workshop space and also one room- this is an opportunity to learn how to plaster with clay.
  
  There is always something to do in the garden - both in the perennial garden and in the vegetable garden. I think there is something for everyone to do and create here - from building walls to pricking out plants, clearing straw from the attic, maintaining the machines... - Projects here can largely be adapted to the workawayer's interests - although of course there are always a few Things that need to be done.
  This year I would like to start a new project: part of the vegetable garden will be used to grow cut flowers - an attempt to offer regional, organically grown cut flowers.
  In addition, more areas should be prepared for herbaceous beds - and at some point a fence should be built that Kiral my dog ​​cannot jump over.
  
  Zunächst stehen als Projekte an: die Renovierung meines Werkstattraumes und eine weiteren Zimmers- das ist eine Möglichkeit das Verputzen mit Lehm zu lernen.
  
  
  Immer ist im Garten etwas zu tun- sowohl im Staudengarten, als auch im Gemüsegarten. Ich denke es gibt hier für jeden etwas zu tun und zu gestalten- von mauern bis Pflanzen pikieren, Stroh vom Dachboden räumen, die Maschinen pflegen...- Projekte hier können weitgehend an die Interessen des workawayers angepasst werden- obwohl es natürlich immer ein paar Notwendigkeiten gibt, die gemacht werden müssen.
  
  Und dann: falls jemand Mauern oder Dachdecken kann, oder sich mit Elrktrik auskennt- für solche Profis gibt es dringende Dinge zu tun.
  
  In diesem Jahr möchte ich ein neues Projekt starten: Ein Teil des Gemüsegartens soll fürden Anbau von Schnittblumen genutzt werden- ein Versuch regional, biologisch angebaute Blumen anzubieten. Außerdem sollen weitere Flächen für Staudenbeete vorbereitet werden - und irgendwann soll ein Zaun gebaut werden, den Kiral, mein Hund nicht überspringen kann.

  Acomodação

  Life is a building yard!
  Unfortunately I can't offer much comfort - I think it's rather spartan here. There are different ways to sleep
  Possibilities: a room with a view of the Elbe, a VW bus, a tent or if a group wants to be here, a yurt could be set up.
  But there is a functional kitchen and I enjoy cooking!
  In the morning you would have to take care of yourself - and the other meals - I'm open to that - I cook once a day - or we do it together. I try to eat mostly from my garden.
  I'm not a regular person - what's important to me is that it's good for everyone.
  I'm not a morning person and don't want to start work before 10 a.m.
  
  Das Leben ist eine Baustelle!
  Leider kann ich nicht viel Komfort bieten- es ist, glaube ich, eher spartanisch hier. Zum Schlafen gibt es verschiedene
  Möglichkeiten: ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Elbe, ein VW Bus, ein Zelt- oder falls eine Gruppe Lust hat hier zu sein könnte die Jurte aufgebaut werden.
  Aber es gibt eine funktionsfähige Küche und ich koche gern!
  Morgens müsstest du dich selbst versorgen- und die anderen Mahlzeiten- da bin ich offen - einmal am Tag koche ich- oder wir machen es zusammen. Ich versuche mich weitgehend aus meinem Garten zu ernähren.
  Ich bin nicht so ein geregelter Mensch- wichtig ist mir, dass es für alle gut ist.
  Ich bin kein Morgenmensch- und möchte nicht vor 10.00h anfangen zu arbeiten.

  As already described, it is very remote here! I have a bike - in summer there is a small ferry to Hitzacker. Hamburg can be reached by public transport - otherwise it is rather difficult to do much here - but there is the opportunity to paint, carve, work with clay, try out the potter's wheel, develop a landart project, make music and write a book ....
  Or simply treat yourself to a time of relaxation - traveling is always tiring - right?
  From April I will have to work hourly again - where and how is currently open - but I will be away for about 20 hours a week - on these days I would be happy if you could look after the dog - it is a wild one , dear guy who loves everyone passionately
  
  Wie schon beschrieben, es ist hier sehr abgelegen! Ich habe ein Fahrrad- im Sommer gibt es eine kleine Fähre nach Hitzacker. Hamburg ist mit öffentlichem Verkehr zu erreichen- sonst ist es eher schwierig hier viel zu unternehmen- aber es gibt die Möglichkeit zu malen, zu schnitzen, mit Ton zu arbeiten, die Töperscheibe auszuprobieren, ein landart Projekt zu entwickeln, Musik zu machen ein Buch zu schreiben.....Oder sich auch einfach eine Zeit der Erholung zu gönnen- Reisen ist immer wieder auch anstrengend- Oder?
  Ab April werde ich auch wieder Stundenweise arbeiten müssen- wo und wie ist gerade offen- aber ich werde ca. 20 Stunden in der Woche abwesend sein- an diesen Tagen wäre ich froh, wenn du dich um den Hund kümmern könntest- es ist ein wilder, lieber Kerl, der alle Menschen stürmisch liebt.
