  Hello guys, welcome to sunny Northland.
  
  It's now 2024 and I haven't hosted anyone from Workaway yet. I joined not long before the border closure. From 2012, until now, my hosting experience has been with other volunteer sites. I've met some amazing people from all walks of life and from different parts of the globe.
  
  Work here is varied and could include working in the organic vege garden, making compost, tree trimming, collecting seaweed, helping with general maintenance and renovation projects, painting, cleaning windows, helping with meal prep. etc.
  
  If your fit, healthy, friendly by nature and a well-rounded person who can work with relative ease in the garden, that's a bonus. If you're into holistic living, yoga, meditation, organic food, etc. I can accomodate you.
  
  Things to do in Doubtless Bay could be to visit Cape Reinga, Toboggan on 90 Mile Beach sand dunes; hire a sea Kayak; go on hikes, visit or camp at Matai Bay (you need a car), watch the sunset from a local Pa site, visit Butler Point Whaling Museum. Or hang out by the beach just 60 metres away..

  Travellers could learn the advantages of living an organic lifestyle; be introduced to different facets of organic gardening and how these bring forth harmonious relationship with the earth. They could have an introduction to Rudolf Steiner's proven method of biodynamic gardening and how this nurtures and revitalises the soil, thus restoring and promoting good health for everyone. They could investigate Waldorf (Steiner) education for children (and adults) and the unique teaching and learning style along with the associated creative crafts. They could learn some yoga, Buddhist meditation, Chinese Qigong, etc.

  There's super fast access to magnificent beach for swimming, walking etc. Nearby to lots of other stunning local beaches and quaint towns. You could also join the local walking group and explore some of the most beautiful walks in the area.
