  We are a multicultural German Chinese family. Together with our both sons 2 and 4 years old we are living in the most beautiful town in North Germany called Lüneburg. We used to travel as a workaway family in Europe and enjoyed it lot. This time we want to make the experience as host and want to welcome workawayers to become part of of our exiting life for a while and get supported some exiting projects such as building a PV system, creating a bee medow or designing a workshop and art studio just to name a few. Besides that there are always some daily tasks like playing with kids, gardening or cooking if you like to.
  About us: We like to travel, doing outdoor activity, biking , cooking and eating delicious especially chinese food, playing games, playing guitar, going to the woods for berry or mushroom picking, ...

  As a multicultural family, we try to find the best balance between the cultures. So the children grow up bilingual or trilingual including Cantonese. We eat both Western and Chinese cuisine and try to pick the best of each to create our own family culture.
  Jun is a very talented chef and will teach you how to make all kinds of dumplings and the world's best chili sauce.
  Hauke's head is full of ideas and will teach you the art of upcycling. He will also show you the finest MTB trails in Lüneburg.
  We have lived abroad in Asia and America for many years and lived a kind of normad life in a caravan in Europe for a long time. So we have a lot of experiences and stories to tell. We are especially excited to learn from our guests and to be inspired by cultures we are not yet familiar with.

  Acomodação

  Our Backyard Lodge is reserved for our guests. This beautiful garden house is equipped with a kitchen and a bedroom on the first floor. Most of the furniture is build by upcycled material.
  The main room will be converted into a studio but can still be used by guests. You also have your private bathroom with tub and shower in the basement just a few steps through the garden.
  The house is within walking distance of the town center and the countryside.

  The wonderful thing about Lüneburg is that you can spend your time in the beautiful historic city, where you can meet many students from the University of Lüneburg. But also just 300m from our house starts a path along the river and in a few minutes you are out in the nature.
  Our guests will get bicycles, because it is the best way to discover the city and the surroundings. Walking distance from our house is the train station with access to fast trains as well as a 30 min. train to Hamburg every hour.
  With to Deutschland Ticket you can travel the whole county for 49€/ month using all rigio train. It is woth it.
