We are a couple, originally from NZ, who live in an old stone farm house, which we are just finishing renovating, on 25 acres in the SW of France. We offer you the experience of living in a very beautiful region of France. The house is surrounded by fields of either wheat or sunflowers, we are 2 kms from our local village which has all amenities. We are 15 kms from a reasonable sized town and an hours drive west of Toulouse in the Gers region, and there are lots of other pretty villages around us. We are also only an hour away by car from the beautiful Pyrenees Mountains. So lots to get out and explore.

Our main language is English and I am happy to teach / improve your English. Our area is very rural and peaceful, so we can offer opportunities of lots of lovely walks in nature with wonderful views. We are also about 1 hour from the beautiful Pyrenees mountains by car. In summer there are many cultural activities and fetes at the various small villages around us including our own village where there is the opportunity to experience the local french life in the bar - which is also an Irish bar. And of course the weekly markets in the larger villages where you can experience more of the French culture.

We need help in the garden, weeding, mowing lawns, strimming, and general tidying. There are also small maintenance tasks.

Acomodação
We offer a very comfortable self contained converted barn with 2 bedrooms, all mod cons and log burner for the colder months. Very cosy. I will provide you with food for all meals.

There are bus services from our local village where I am happy to take you to and from there you can go to Auch, our nearest town and from there there are train services to Toulouse and further afield.

Tom and Selma stayed with us for three weeks. They are two lovely very genuine, helpful people, loads of character, fun and polite. They got stuck into the work we had planned for them with Tom surprising us with how hard he works and no matter what the weather was.
