Looking for help
from march to october in Noli

I'm 58 years old with a 18 yrs old daughter and we traveled the world extensively. We host from 2 to 6 workawayers at the time. The house is an old tower dated 1000aD and is surrounded by nature and the sea. I need your help to renovate, the position is very nice on the Ligurian coast of Italy within the walking distance of the picturesque town of Noli. with a fantastic view of the Mediterranean sea.
I'm working to renovate the building and to make the property a nice place to live in.
The main tasks if you're visiting me will be building and gardening work, but I will appreciate also blacksmith and also any plumber contribution.
We are between Savona and Nice (France),20 minutes from Savona and two hours from Nice (France). 1 hr from Genova. We offer transfer service at arrival and departure from Spotorno-Noli railway station, 5 minutes by car.
The nearest village, Noli is 1 km away and the village of Spotorno is 2km away and they have grocery stores, a supermarket, a lot of bars and pizzerias but also a lot of nice beaches

Acomodação
Noli: Spring and Summer
A full house dedicated to workawayer with 2 room a kitchen and a bathroom, with private garden, plus a tower room with bathroom.
As we ask only 3 hr a day we offer continental breakfast (milk, coffee, tea, jam, bread butter, eggs) in exchange for 3 hours a day of help, 5 days a week.
SATURDAY NIGH dinner I cook but as is the cultural night by turn workaway cook one dish of his/her Country and I cook the rest.

Workaways love this solution as they can go to seaside mostly of the day.

There are one old friendly dogs and 3 cats and 1 chicken
Concerning Lunch and dinner you have a place were to make it yourself and if one day we BOTH AGREE for 4 hours a day, I offer dinner.
ARRIVAL DAY : SUNDAY
who don't arrive on sunday but in midweek they will work 5 days and 2 day off that will be weeksdays

from the house in a walking distance there is 2 towns, Spotorno and Noli (very historical) plus a bus stop and train station. You can decide if to sunbath at the sea or visit all the Ligurian Coast and also the French Riviera (Nice, Monaco ecc)

In fact she always said to the volunteers that the accommodations are basics but you will quickly be at your ease and feel at home as soon as you will understand the particularity of the place and how it works. And you will want to… read more stay there forever.
It will be full of people from all around the world, because Eliana always search to create an energy, sharing moments, than just have help for the work to do. She goes further than the simple exchange work/place to stay and that is why she is one of the best quoted host of the website.
She gives attention and care too every workawayers, by speaking with them in private, trying to find out what are their interests, their tastes. She will put all these details in her head and one day she will use it to say thanks to you (if your work is good!). She is the main reason of the lively and joyful groups that are created over there. The fact that she provides just the breakfast can make hesitate some of the volunteers who wants to travel spending the less money possible. But on the contrary, it's an other reason of the charm of the place, because you will be sharing with everyone, cooking for each others, and discover meals from various countries. You can even buy wine and pesto from Eliana's neighbors. That will be your turn to create the energy and trying to have special moments. Which are quite easy to get. The work can be sometimes hard but Eliana will always teach you the right way. You will find her in the morning seated on the terrace, watching the sea while smoking her cigarette, thinking in silence and elaborating the projects of the day, because she always find a way to win, with her brain, what the house and the environment is putting in front of her main goal, restauring completely the house. When she will find the solution she will look straight at you with her clear blue eyes half shutted, spitting out the smoke and all the ideas at the same time. And that will be your work for some hours.
Then she will ask you to enjoy the beach which is quite near, a gelato and the amazing weather and nature of Liguria.
If you want to finish this day in beauty, the best thing to do is to cook for Eliana and everyone, so she can relax and being able to narrate all her stories from all over the globe, because she travelled a lot.
That is what she deserves for giving such an amount of the joy and unique moments, and for her dedication to the workaway spirit. So I hope that in reading this message you will take care of Eliana as much as she takes care of everyone one of us.
