  I´m Andrés, from Venezuela, living in Portugal for 7 years with my wife Andrea and our daughter Miranda. We manage a 5 hectare property in the countryside but very close to the beach (15 min to Milfontes, Malhao, Aivados). During spring-summer season we rent some of our houses/cottages to travelers, recently we installed two Geodesic Domes.
  In the farm we have dogs, horses and chickens. Many fruit trees (orange, lemon, tangarine, figs, wilberries, others) and a small vegetable garden.

  We can help you to explore all your interests. The region is very rich in nature (countryside and coast) and outdoor activities. In the immediate surroundings you can go walking or use a bike to explore nature. Very close by there are beautiful beaches to discover.

  Ajuda

  Some basic tasks will be gardening, weeding and cultivating the vegetable garden, also to embellish parts around the house by weeding , clearing regions from stones, taking care for flowers, herbs and fruit trees, painting, making paths and small walls with natural stones. You should help us in general maintenance. We value creative minds and a bit of experience.
  There are tasks around the horse keeping like cleaning the pastures and shelters from horse-dung, feeding, taking care for the fences and repair if needed, clearing and tidy up some regions of the meadows from stones and bushes. You should help us with simple constructions for example sun-shelters for cars, round pen (half done), winter shelter for horses, finishing to build the main warehouse (half done). If you are experienced with horses, you can do groundwork or make walks by foot.
  You must be physically fit, or willing to get through the first wave of blisters, to really enjoy yourself here, as the work we do can be strenuous.
  We do a lot of wood works, like paths, decks, shades; so experience working with wood is a plus.
  Soon we are building a swimmable pond/lake and some help could be great!

  Private bedroom for 1 or 2 guests, depending on your needs and our availability. A complete bathroom with hot water for volunteers only. Full access to the kitchen.

  We are located in a rural area called Foros da Pereira, between Vila Nova de Milfontes and Cercal. So we are very close to the beach but inmerge in the portuguese coutryside.
