We couldn’t recommend John and Michele as hosts enough! They are absolutely lovely people and our stay with them was a really great experience. We got a lot of our own space including kitchen, bathroom etc. so it never felt like we were on top of each other. The work was very fair for the accomodation offered and it was very interesting to get

They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, including a very nice taco dinner!

I am not quiet sure where to start... Benny and Mow have been such a delight to have in our home. Their time with us just went so fast. They were such a great help to us. They are hard workers and have great respect in what they do. When they left us it was like saying goodbye to a relative. We hope to keep in touch and follow their ongoing

Our time at the farm unfortunately has come to an end but wauw what an amazing time we've had! John and Michele are truly lovely people and all their dogs, goats and chickens will give you a good time.
We were happy with the accommodation. They provided us with our own area upstairs with a bedroom, couch, balcony, tv and our own bathroom on the
… read more ground floor. We worked 3 hours in the morning and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon in the sun. A perfect balance for us!

For about 3 weeks I stayed at John and Michele's house and I had a great time. They gave me the full responsibility look after their animals when they went to Bali for 12 days.
It was just a 20 minuten walk to the nice village centre Kuranda and I spend so time over there going for a walk, having a chat with some locals or going to the koala
… read more garden, butterfly sanctuary and bird world. Michele's son Dan took me to the Atherton tablelands and we went all the way up to Port Douglas, 2 great days seeing more of the beautiful area.
John and Michele are lovely people and I felt really welcome, it's a great place to stay if you love animals and wanna experience living in a rainforest I wish them all the best and good luck at their new farm!

What can I say about Judith. SHE IS WONDERFUL!!!! She is one of the nicest and kindest people we have had. Her passion for animals is outstanding. Our dog broke her leg a week before she was to house sit and she looked after her with kindness and loving care which is hard to come by in this day and age. If you are thinking of hosting Judth

Absolutely amazing time staying with this lovely couple! Michele and John were my first WA hosts and they did not disappoint! I always felt welcome and cared for. They would do anything possible to help me if I needed it. I couldn't of had a better experience and I definitely recommend them to everyone.

Gianna is a wonderful young girl. She is an all rounder and happy to get her hands dirty. It was a pleasure having her in our home. I wish her nothing but the best on her life and travels and would highly recommend her to any future workaway homes. It was sad to day goodbye.

Justine was a great workaway. she was pleasant and lovely to have in our home. Nothing was a problem to her and I taught her to say "No Worries" (not really she knew this when she came but we use to make a joke of it) I would recommend her to any workaway home. I hope she travels safe and we may meet again one day.
