Help with gardening and DIY in a small rural village in Brittany, France

  Hello, we are Ronny (German-Italian born in '90) and Julien (French, born in '79). We live in a traditional Brittany house in a small rural village just 400m from a large sandy beach. We have a dog (Labrador mix), a tortoise and fish in a pond. We're very simple people who appreciate peace and quiet. I, Ronny, am very much a homebody, whereas Julien enjoys his garden and walks in the countryside. Maintaining the house takes a lot of time but unfortunately we both work full time so we're unable to manage everything on time which is why we need some help.

  Ajuda

  We would welcome a friendly and handy person that can help around with re-painting some rooms and furnitures. Help with our garden is also greatly appreciated (mowing, staining, repairing fences and shed). As for the inside of the house, we'd like to find someone to help us with the spring cleaning.

  Ronny : Born and raised in Germany. I am a full Italian but unfortunately my family never teached me Italian. Julien : Born and raised in France, speaks French only and intermediate English.

  Depending of the period on which you will book we can either provide a room with a private shower in a our proper home OR a small well equipped STR appartment just 400 meters away from our home address.

  In your free time, you can explore the local landscapes and cultural sites. We can give you lots of ideas. Depending on when you're coming, we can guide you to places to do sport (swimming, scuba diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, hang-gliding, horse riding, paragliding etc.). There are also some worthwhile museums to visit (mineral museum, Vauban tower (UNESCO heritage site), Battle of the Atlantic Memorial Museum, rural museum, Living museum of old trades, churches, classified and medieval villages). You can use one of our cars to get around (we do not provide fuel).

  You can use our Wifi connection, but sometimes it's slow and there are blackouts as we are living in a remote area. We both work from home and it's fine.
