  Phil and Kelly, and their kids: Rochelle (6) and Leo (2). Phil is a Nurse, working in Emergency. Kelly is an actor, mostly specializing in voice-over. Phil and Kelly are both originally from Alberta, though have lived in Vancouver since early-mid 2000's. Met at Burning man in 2011, and now here we are.
  Prior to kids, travel was frequent and far reaching, now we have toned it back a little and live vicariously through our guests. With ever-changing work schedules, we often need your physical presence for just a couple hours of having the kids entertained and/or out of the house to get work/school/shopping done. Assistance with dinner times is also needed. We have gardening and garden projects to do, and general house upkeep and organization.
  
  Rochelle has started school in French immersion, so if you speak french she will like to practice with you.
  
  Nearby are an incredible number of restaurants on Victoria drive and a small, very convenient, grocery store right next door. We have multiple bus routes within 100m, and not far to the skytrain. Easy access to the rest of Vancouver.
  Workaway guests will have their own room, and share a bathroom.
  
  We are more comfortable with females taking care of the kids. No smokers, thank you.

  We are located in East Vancouver, close to an amazing variety of restaurants. We live right next to a grocery store and easy biking/transit to anywhere in Vancouver. The family enjoys skiing/snowboarding, biking, frisbee, and pickleball.
  
  We hope to share travel stories and inspire the kids to explore the world and different cultures.

  Ajuda

  Helping with our kids. Dropping off/picking up Rochelle at school or watching Leo while Phil or Kelly do. Taking Leo to the park when Kelly has to work for a few hours. Other similar, short stints of assistance.
  Help with preparing dinner, general household duties.
  Phil is working extensive hours, which makes it tough for Kelly to take short notice work.
  Both of our extended families live out of town, so we often find we just need an extra set of hands/eyes for an hour or two a few days per week. On the rare occasion, being available at home while Kelly and Phil head out together for an evening.
  
  The kids really enjoy interacting with adults. Leo especially loves throwing and catching anything resembling a ball\frisbee.
  
  We generally start with hosting for 3 nights or so, to make sure both parties feel they are a good fit for each other, and the kids. Depending on our needs, we will extend from there.
  Note: We are more comfortable with females taking care of the kids.

  Your own room, Shared bathroom with dual sinks. We live on the main floor of a house.
  Cooking dinners a few nights a week will be expected. Help yourself to whatever food you like as well.

  We have easy transit available just half a block away, and a cruiser bike or razor scooter. Explore all Vancouver and surrounding are has to offer! Outdoor enthusiasts will love it here.
