  We are a family of four (Felix, Elliott, Aurore and Bogdan) and we speak french, italian, spanish, portuguese and english. We bought a Quinta in a small village at one hour from Lisbon where we have just opened a guest house. Our quinta is very quiet and serene. We really spend good times here.
  We will be in Portugal this Summer for our holidays and we will have to work in the garden, make small ajustments in the house,... Having two kids (3 and 7) and managing to take care of a Quinta could sometimes be challenging. So this summer we would like to host a person that could be a new member to our family. Instead of being overwhelmed I could maybe manage to go for a run sometimes, have help with the garden or the kids or the kitchen. Nothing very organized...it would be more an open collaboration. Basically we want to all be a little bit more chilled :-) To be totally honest I was near having a burn-out this winter and I am trying to have a more gentle rhythm. And we love the idea of exchanging informations and knowledge...hence the idea of trying Workaway for this summer. It is the first time we publish on Workaway. But we already had experiences as Workawayers.

  We are a multicultural family. Aurore is belgo-italian and Bogdan is belgian and colombian. We live in Brussels and 3 months a year in Portugal since last year. With us you could learn our languages, how to play the guitar, how to invest in real estate. We also enjoy cooking a lot.

  We would like to host a person that could be a new member to our family.   Acomodação

  Our house is a old rural home. You would have your own room. All the rooms are small but apart from sleeping we spend most of the time outdoor. 3 meals per day.

  We are in a middle of a Natural Park so there is a lot of hiking, biking. We are in central Portugal so you also have a lot of cities and beautiful sites to discover. We will also go around to discover, you will be welcome to come with us or stay at home while we go. Our expectation is to engage in a positive human relationship.

  We have fiber optic internet. I also work online and the connection is good most of the time. But the telephone line is really really bad. Of course we are happy if you work in a common space but there won't be a desk in your room as the rooms are too small for that as we are in a old portuguese house.

  There is space for one van just in front of our property.

  It is possible. We have the space and we love pets. But we have to talk about it first :-) So I can make sure that everything goes smooth.
