  URGENT - House/Pet Sitter required - Sunday 27 April to Friday 2 May.

  I live on a 3 acre smallholding in the middle of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. I have 6 chickens and 2 dogs. I grow a wide variety of vegetables in raised beds and also in the polytunnel. Although there is no mobile phone coverage here I do have excellent internet. I love to cook. Although it is very remote here, it does have its bonuses, e.g., dark skies so stargazing is amazing! Lots of wildlife to see as well. I'm looking for someone to help with gardening and walking the dogs. Your own transport is not required for this.

  Separately, I have availability for you to house sit on various dates in 2025, whilst I travel for work but your own transport would be preferable as I am quite remote. 10 minutes drive to the nearest village, 30 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. House sitting duties would also entail looking after my two dogs and the chickens - as well as eating their eggs, if you like!
  
  I'm looking for house sitters on the following dates:
  
  
  Tuesday 24 June to Saturday 5 July
  Tuesday 16 September to Saturday 27 September
  Sunday 16 November to Thursday 20 November
  Sunday 14 December to Saturday 20 December
  
  The above dates are the MINIMUM requirement for your stay, so there is flexibility of a few days either side of the above dates.

  I think my home should be treated more like a retreat from the rat race. If they would like, I can teach them how to grow their own food, how to cook, how to care for animals.

  I'm looking for companionship as well as general help around my little smallholding, e.g., feeding the animals, sowing seeds, planting, harvesting vegetables etc. Nothing too strenuous.

  Two single beds in private room in my house OR Double bed in private room. All other facilities, i.e., cooking, washing, etc., shared. I am happy to cook for the guests or for them to cook for themselves using the produce I grow if they wish.

  It's very remote, so no public transport, but I can collect guests from the train station. There are a lot of walking trails. I'm very easy going but my only stipulation would be NO SMOKING AND SORRY, NO PETS.
