  ****update: we accept guests from 3rd September **** We are a family of three, Misha, Denis and Gabriel (our child) and we live a bit out of Karlovo town on the slope of Stara planina mountain where we take care after bio vegetable and fruit garden, work handmade stuff from home and enjoy walking around the beautiful mountain area. The region is good for hiking in the mountains, paragliding, rose picking( we are in the Rose Valley) and general tourism.
  
  Our mission is to grow healthy food, have a contract with soil, live in the nature, breathe good air and have a general freedom.
  
  Our homestead is 1700m2 big, we have around 40 fruit trees, 200m2 vegetable garden, big area of greenery, compost, trampoline. We get water from a well and soon plan to put solar panels, so will be almost fully independent.
  
  Our house has 3 bedrooms, big kitchen and living room and big atelier where we make our art. Our neighbors is good to mention as we have a good contact with them and it could be interesting for visitors to see. They are old people in their 70s and 80s, but work hard and manage well their gardens. We often ask them for advises about gardening.

  Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado

  Mihaela - is a yoga and pilates teacher and practices Vipassana mediation, as well as Thai massage. We can practice together and share our experience.
  
  Denis - is a photographer and cameraman. Have built the house mostly by myself with eco materials. Takes care of the bio vegetable and fruit garden. My newest passion is pottery and will be happy to share all the experience I have gained.
  
  Gabriel - is a sweet and very calm young man, who loves riding his bike and playing around the garden.
  
  We live and work from home as a handmade artists, making handmade lamps.
  
  We are open to share all our knowledge and experience of growing a garden, living in a homestead, being independent, growing as an artist. We will be very happy to talk as well about self development and related topics. And generally share our world and home with you.

  Ajuda

  We would be very thankful for any help in the garden and general maintenance and cleaning of the home(stead) . All the produce from the garden is for our own family use and we try to grow a good variety of veggies so we can be as independent as possible.
  
  General tasks in the garden will be much appreciated. Depending of the season, there could be weeds cleaning, planting veggies and aftercare, putting straw and mulching, doing compost, lawn mowing etc.

  Acomodação

  We can offer a separate room for our guest. Camping is also possible if wanted. We will be glad to cook and share our meals together, everything we have is shareable 😊

  Algo mais...

  For the time off, you could go hiking, or walking around in the charming rural villa area, through small paths, dam lake, rivers and waterfalls, take our bike and ride. We can take walks around together or give some information for long or small trips in the region. There is really a lot to do and the area is really beautiful.
  
  Some suggestions for the time off:
  -From our house you can start hiking in the mountain and visit Vasil Levski hut, Dobrila hut.
  -Go to Sopot and do paragliding
  -Pick roses during the rose season
  -Visit important cultural places in Sopot and Karlovo
  -Go to a high point (Beklemeto) in the mountain with car and hike from there to few mountain huts.
  
  And many other possibilities for time off!
