Feito pelo anfitrião para o Workawayer (Ryan)
Ryan spent a month with us in Cork in the summer of 2023. He was pleasant to have around and diligently assisted our regular gardener with jobs around the property - both gardening and general maintenance. I would recommend him to future workaway hosts.

I spent one month at Peter and Belinda's and had a great time. The family were all very welcoming during my stay and I really enjoyed the evenings I had dinner with them. Plus, they have two very friendly dogs.
The accommodation I stayed in was also really good, with plenty of space and full kitchen facilities.
I spent 3 days a week working
… read more with their gardener, John - very helpful and great to work with, the work was varied and never difficult - great if you love being outside in nature and learning about gardening.
The home is really well located for exploring the south west of Ireland (and beyond). Killarney National Park and the cork coastline is in easy reach and the local area is also great to explore (especially if you like cycling).
Thank you Belinda and family for making my time in West Ireland so memorable and for being so welcoming.

We spent 6 wonderful weeks with belinda and peter, and we’ve been warmly welcomed in their family! Place is charming and they helped us with what to do and drives to see the countryside.
The work with John is really nice and we mainly worked 20hours a week on a three-day basis. John is a really kind man and as a passion with sharing his

I had a lovely time in Belinda and Peter's home and gardens!
They're a welcoming, lively, kind, happy family and made me feel welcome.
They live in a beautiful location in a small village and have beautiful big gardens.
I enjoyed the work which was varied and I learnt many new things! The hours of work required per week are 24/25. John, the

My stay was quite short (around 10 days) but I felt at ease from the start, I enjoyed the days at the beach (thank you for showing me that gorgeous beach!!), the walks by the river close to their home, the dinners with Belinda's and Peter's family, the conversations with them and all the wonderful meals cooked with their own products. I also met their daughters Alexandra, Beatrice and their son Patrick. The whole family has been so kind to me, they all made an effort to communicate with me, to make me feel at home and involve me in their daily life!

Clara is a delight and we loved hosting her. She threw herself into gardening with alacrity and was a great help. I hope she will return on another occasion!

Maddie spent four weeks with us this spring in County Cork helping us in the garden. She was a pleasure to host and clearly loved working in the garden and with nature. She was a great help and tackled all her tasks with enthusiasm and diligence even when the weather outside was not its best, aided and abetted by a quirky sense of humour which we

I cannot recommend this Workaway highly enough. This was my very first workaway and it could not have been better. Belinda and her family were so welcoming, hospitable and welcomed me into their home with open arms. I had such a great time getting to know them, enjoying Belinda's delicious home cooked food and spending time with them playing games

The work was great with John the gardener who is lovely, patient and easy going and the gardens themselves are beautiful with fields, woods and access to the River Lee. The work itself was varied and the hours are incredibly good with lots of time in the afternoon to yourself to go and explore.
The area is very picturesque and ideally situated 10/15 minutes from the town of Macroom with all facilities and 35 minutes to Cork City. There is so much to do especially for those who love the outdoors. You can be at the coast or in the rugged beauty of Kerry in 45 minutes.
The accommodation was perfectly situated in a courtyard on the property. It was private but just a walk away from the family home. The bed was comfortable, the rooms large, light and bright and I had everything I needed.
Belinda and Peter were wonderful to me; generously sharing their delicious homemade jams and juices made from fruit picked from the garden, they took me out on multiple occasions and were very helpful at teaching me about the history of such a beautiful Country and places to visit (as was John)
For animal lovers it's great as the family dogs and cats are very lovable particularly Suki who will love anyone with such strong physical affection if you let her and the sheep and cows are in the neighbouring fields. The garden is full of birds and you may be lucky enough to spot a Red Squirrel, Otter or Pine Martin. The locals are incredibly friendly and everyone has the time to chat.
I would like very much to go back in the future, it has a place in my heart.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

My husband and I stayed 1,5 month (July&August) in this beautiful place and had a wonderful time.
It was just the perfect place to be out of the city in summer, helping the gardener in the vegetable and fruit garden and taking care of the lawn and the flower beds.
My husband worked alongside the gardener John while I was watering the gardens and

The Courtyard, where we lived, is an old historic building with very big and sturdy walls, which keep the inside always cool. We had all we needed, a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom with enough warm water to shower. The internet connection was excellent for working from home and streaming. We really felt like home.
Belinda and Peter are very open-minded, friendly and caring people, who made us feel welcome. They were always open for a chat, sharing some stories and history about their wonderful home.
During our free time in the evening and on the weekends we just enjoyed the surroundings, taking walks on the river or even swimming in the river on warm and sunny days. Short trips by car to Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara, Killarney were wonderful and Killinardrish is the perfect place to have the base-camp for all these adventures.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
