  An old farmhouse being rehabilitated:
  I have been living since summer 2018 in an old stone house located in a hamlet. It is located 3km from the nearest village and 30 minutes from Mont Saint Michel.
  I started with 4 walls and a bad roof and renovated with patience and solidarity since then.
  This year we'll be having a participative worshop every mounth, mainly working with clay for plaster.
  
  
  Farming Activities for autonomy  and sharing :
  Since settling in, I've cultivated a bountiful vegetable garden, welcomed poultry and goats, learned to make my own cheese, tested preservation methods and transformations for my small-scale produce, and tried to build a small-scale farming life: both simple and hectic, punctuated by a variety of seasonal activities.
  
  
  Cultural Activities: I am a violonist and this is my principal profesionnal activity: giving violin class and concerts around the region.
  As a musician, I give a lot of importance to living and popular arts as a way of gathering.
  With other musicians, we celebrate every equinox and solstice within a little local community , around live collective music while sharing a good country style meal.

  Un ancien corps de ferme en cours de réhabilitation :
  Je vis depuis l’été 2018 dans une vieille maison en pierre située dans un hameau. Elle est entourée de plus d'un hectare de terrain, lui-même entouré de prairies avec chevaux. Elle est située à 3km du village le plus proche et à 30 minutes du Mont Saint Michel.
  
  Les activités paysannes :
  Depuis mon installation, j'ai cultivé un potager nourricier, accueilli volailles, chèvres, appris à faire mon fromage, testé quelques méthodes de conservation et transformations de ma petite production et tenté de me construire une petite vie paysanne: à la fois simple et trépidante rythmée par des activités saisonnières variées :
  
  Activités culturelles:
  Depuis 2021, un théâtre de verdure a été construit en 3 mois avec une cinquantaine de personnes. Depuis, on y organise des évènements dansants pour cultiver les rencontres autour de moments festifs.

  Ajuda

  Life at the farm changes with the seasons and renovations:
  
  Spring heralds renewal with site improvements and the launch of the vegetable garden. On the agenda: Preparing crops, small DIY projects, and a few renovation projects.
  
  
  In summer, the farm welcomes a diverse audience. We keep on renovating, gardening and harvesting. We cook a lot from the garden for the regular meals but also to sterilize the surplus. Every wednesday of the summer will be ZACUSA time : a whole day to make an excellent dish thanks to my romanian grandmother's recipe. It's also time to discover the territory and participate in local events.
  
  
  Autumn is the time to pick the last vegetables from the garden and prepare the for the coming winter : (repairing fences, preparing wood, putting the vegetable garden into dormancy).
  
  
  Day-to-day tasks :
  
  In order to play a full part in the running of the farm, the woofers rotate in and out of the farm to take care of the day-to-day running of the farm. Tasks will vary according to the season, for example: self-management of the dry toilets - caring for the animals - cooking meals, washing up & cleaning, watering ...
  
  
  
  IF YOU WANT TO WOOF HERE, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE CONTEXT YOU'RE ENTERING!
  
  => A woofing stay on this farm is therefore intense, as much because of the seasonal tasks to be accomplished as because of the discoveries and encounters I'm offering you. You can be sure that it will be enriching, but not all restful!
  
  For these reasons, and to avoid any misunderstandings or disappointments on either side, I'd like to make it clear that I expect my guests to behave in a RESPONSIBLE, AUTONOMOUS, CAREFUL & respectful manner, with a MINIMUM OF EXPERIENCE of country life and/or a thrifty, resilient lifestyle, and a real desire to "do things right", and not just because they can get free food and accommodation.
  
  => So, if you're looking for a holiday on a farm to recharge your batteries, stroke the pheasants and restore your health with freshly-picked produce, there's plenty of room at the farm campsite for a tourist break, but that's not the idea of woofing.
  
  => If you're seriously planning to set up your own business: you're looking for additional experience to help you achieve this goal. I'll share as much of my experience with you as I can to help you work through your questions. Minimum stay 2 weeks.

  La vie de la ferme change au grès des saisons 
  
  Le printemps annonce le renouveau avec les aménagements du site et le lancement du potager. Au programme:
  Préparation des cultures,petits bricolages et quelques chantiers participatifs de réhabilitation du corps de ferme avec des techniques traditionnelles et matériaux naturels.
  
  
  L'été, la ferme accueille une diversité de public, on continue d'honorer les produits du jardin en les cuisinant en grande quantité. A la fois pour se nourrir quand il y a du monde et aussi pour stériliser les surplus pendant l'hiver.
  
  L'automne est le temps de s dernières récoltes, transfos au potager et au verger (cidre/jus de pommes) et des aménagements pour se préparer à l'hiver (réparation de clôtures, préparation du bois, mise en dormance du potager)
  
  
  
  
  Les tâches du quotidien :
  
  Pour participer pleinement au fonctionnement de la ferme, une gestion tournante est prévue avec les woofeurs pour assurer le quotidien. Les tâches varient en fonction des saisons, exemple : Autogestion des toilettes sèches – Soin aux animaux – Cuisine du repas, vaisselle & nettoyage, Arrosage ...
  
  VOTRE ATTENTION SVP!!SI TU VEUX FAIRE DU WOOFING ICI,SOIS CONSCIENT DU CONTEXTE DANS LEQUEL TU METS LES PIEDS!!
  => Je gère seule à la fois le potager, l'élevage et la production fromagère, le camping de la ferme, je réhabilite en même temps les batiments de la ferme, je suis également très impliquées dans les animations culturelle à la ferme et dès que je peux, je prends le temps de vivre ma vie de musicienne.
  =>Un séjour de woofing dans cette ferme est donc intenses autant de par les missions saisonnières à accomplir que par les découverte et les rencontres que je te propose de faire. Dis toi que ce sera enrichissant mais pas de tout repos!
  
  Pour ces raisons et afin d'éviter tout malentendu et déception de part et d'autre, je tiens à préciser que j'attends des personnes accueillies un comportement RESPONSABLE, SOIGNEUX & respectueux du lieu avec un MINIMUM D'INTERET pour vie à la campagne et/ou d'un mode de vie économe et résilient et une réelle volonté de vouloir "bien faire les choses", et non uniquement parce que cela permet d'être nourri et hébergé gratuitement.
  
  => Donc, si tu as envie de vacances à la ferme pour avant tout te ressourcer, caresser des biquettes et te refaire une santé avec des bons produits fraîchement cueillis : tu as toute ta place au camping de la ferme pour un séjour touristique, mais ce n'est pas l'idée du woofing.
  
  => Si tu as un sérieux projet d'installation : tu es en recherche d'expériences complémentaires pour servir cet objectif. Je partagerais avec toi autant que je peux mon expérience pour t'aider à cheminer sur tes questionnements. Séjour 2 semaines minimum.

  Algo mais...

  ! Essential vehicle, necessary vehicle! The surroundings are varied and pretty but it is better to be conveyed for more independence. There is still a bus line that passes through the village towards Fougères, itself connected to Rennes and therefore Paris.
  
  NB: Wishing to make it a place of subsistence, experimentation and also sharing, I have welcomed about fifteen volunteers since my arrival and this house is always open to them. Now I want to offer the possibility of living on the premises for 4 seasons to people looking for a place to live in the calm of the countryside to develop a new activity there in accordance with the spirit and the needs of the place while getting involved in those already in place.   ! Véhicule indispensable! Les environs sont variés et jolis mais il vaut mieux être véhiculé pour plus d'indépendance. Il y a tout de même une ligne de bus qui passe par le village en direction de Fougères, elle même reliée à Rennes et donc Paris.
  
  NB: Souhaitant en faire un lieu de subsistance, d’expérimentations et aussi partage, j'ai accueilli une quinzaine de volontaires depuis mon arrivée et cette maison leur est toujours ouverte. Désormais je souhaite proposer la possibilité de vivre sur les lieux pendant 4 saisons à des personnes à la recherche d'un lieu de vie au calme de la campagne pour y développer une nouvelle activité en accord avec l'esprit et les besoins du lieu tout en s'impliquant dans celles déjà en place.
