Descrição
I live in a renovated old house in the south of Bavaria. I have a vegetable garden and a lot of flowers and bloomind bushes. The meadows around the house are grazed by my sheep. I have also some bee colonies, fruit trees and a little forest. I like to work in harmony with nature, not to exploit or damage it. I make sure to save energy and create as little waste as possible.
The activities are very varied and mostly outdoors. I welcome volunteers who like to join me in my daily tasks.
When the weather is not so good, I also have some tasks indoors, like preparing the bee frames for the next season . I am glad to have a helping hand for this. You are welcome to join me, especially if you are strong and you have some experience with farm tasks.

You can learn about bee keeping and gardening and sheep keeping. I know a lot about plants and the local habits which I like to share. There is the possibility to hike in the foothills of the Alps. There are lakes nearby and a small river is very close for a dip in the water. The towns in the area are rather small and have beautiful old buildings and a rural flair.
Hikes are possible from the house. If it fits, we can also go on tours together.

I have a room in the house that I can prepare for you. There is only one bathroom in the house. I provide three meals a day and I would be happy if we have the meals together. I mainly cook what has grown in my garden.
The house is 2km away from the next village and a shop. We have no public transports here. I can provide a bicycle and give you some lifts.

During leisure time, hikes can be undertaken and sporting activities. There are swimming lakes, ski lifts and trails, climbing rocks and a climbing hall. I can provide a bike. There is hardly any public transport in my place. However, sometimes I am ready to drive you to an attraction or to accompany you. A train station is 8 km away. The larger towns in the vicinity are: Kempten, Lindau, Immenstadt, Oberstaufen, Isny.

I lived with Brigitte and family for one month and a half. They gave me a very good time with working in the garden and the house. We build a wooden stair for the beehouse, a canalina for rainwater and I enjoyed emptying the goat house of the mist, the gold of the farmer.
