Martina was the best thing that could happened to us this summer. She arrived to our house just few days before giving birth to our little one Alicia, she was so patient with us as we had a new chapter and a welcoming of a new baby. She was looking after all the family, she cooked some amazing dishes too from her own culture. She pull her weight
… read more around the house , kept her room tidy and help around the house constantly she also kept our kids entertained and she was always willing to give a hand. She did more than we expected and we are so grateful to have met her. She is now a lifelong friend and who knows maybe one day one of kids will go to Italy to be her aupair 😅🥰 she is always welcome here!

I stayed with Stella, Oscar and their lovely kids for a month in August 2024. It was my first Workaway experience, and it was absolutely wonderful! They picked me up from the train station and were very welcoming. Both Stella and Oscar speak very good English, and they were incredibly helpful with my Spanish. The kids were always patient and eager
… read more to include me in their activities.
Stella and Oscar (who always treated me as their equal) were kind and supportive, becoming real friends whom I still keep in touch with. Additionally, they were very considerate of my needs, even introducing me to a girl my age, which allowed me to have a group of friends.
They even took me on vacation! We spent beautiful days in a campsite in the Navarre countryside, relaxing while the kids had a lot of fun.
Living in their home never felt like a burden, and helping them around the house and with the children never felt like work.
Thank you, Stella and Oscar, for giving me my own space at home and for allowing me days off to visit other cities in northern Spain.
The thing that enriched me the most was getting to know your fascinating Spanish, Cypriot, and English cultures. Moreover, I was very pleased that you were also enthusiastic about learning about my Italian culture, creating a space for mutual exchange.
Being part of your life during the birth of your third daughter, Alicia, was a unique experience full of emotions and joy.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity and wish to thank you and your adorable children.
I hope to see you again soon (hopefully in Italy)!
