NGO is based in Kapan, south-east Armenia. It is involved in various projects concerning sustainable development, including the development of eco-tourism, organic agriculture/permaculture, and healthy lifestyle. Our projects are mostly located on our newly established hiking trail between Tatev Monastery and Khustup Mountain.

The work of volunteers is largely based on their own personal skills and motivation. We can create a programme together when you arrive.

Please do not consider this volunteer opportunity as a cheap way of travelling through the region. We hope that you embrace this place as your home and a place to experiment with ideas that have no borders.

We are looking for volunteers that can help us with the following things:

1. Landart projects, to make both our hiking trails and camping sites more attractive.

2. With agriculture skills to help us to create a self-sustaining permaculture garden in our camps. Also to provide consultation on our future education projects, including a summer/recreation camp and a permaculture course.

We highly welcome people with skills in marketing and promotion (especially on social media) who can help us to establish the region as an attractive hub for ecotourism.

We would also like to invite volunteers to help us create and develop tours in the region that enable local rural villages to benefit from sustainable ecotourism.

Volunteers can stay in one of our three ecocamps based in Kapan, Arajadzor and Tandzaver. Accommodation can be in tents, microcabins, or in the case of Arajadzor a country house. We have kitchens, showers and all the basic amenities. We can provide basic food, but please do not expect foie gras.

We are flexible in terms of length of time. Our volunteers usually stay between 1 and 6 weeks, although usually we become friends for life J
