  Hello, We are Cristina (33) and Bernardo (35) with a child of 5, Beniamino. We live in the beautiful Florence Countryside, around 20 min from the city. We love to have people around and share experiences and knowledge. We have a few chickens, goats and ducks and a big huge vegetable garden. We live in a very big old house, in a quiet social situation, we have our privacy but we have many neighbours too. We really like to spend time in the house and there is always a lot of work to do with the animals, with the orchard, and also with cutting wood, preparing the soil for seedlings, building kinds of stuff, and also cleaning, painting etc etc. We usually make homemade pasta, pizza, gnocchi, and bread. We very much like cooking! Sometimes we are busy with our jobs (Bernardo is a Tree climbing and I'm a researcher in Forest ecology) but this depends on the period, I'd say that in some periods we'd have much time to spend together and in some not so much (it's life!=). We would prefer people who are also independent and have some skills so that when we are not at home she/he can do things by themselves! English speakers are very welcome because we need to practise the language!

  You will have a private room with a french bed and a shared bathroom

  The toilet is in our room so it's not the very best but we already shared it and there were no problems! We would like workawayers to build a compost toilet in the garden so if you have this skill you are perfect for us:)
  We already have a solar shower but can be improved
  
  The winter is cold in the countryside, but cosy and we have wood heating. However, the other seasons are much better to enjoy the garden.
  
  Workawayers with caravans and tends are very much welcome!
