Welcome to our stately, turreted 19th century guesthouse. The former mansion has been faithfully restored in traditional style with many guest rooms, a sun room/conservatory, a billiard/music room and kitchen. The property is nestled on the green slopes of Monchique. There is a vintage deck and a bio- pool, a citrus grove (oranges and lemons), aloe cactus, blackberry and raspberry bushes, a small vinyard, traditional terrace irrigation fed by our own fountain spring, assorted cozy guest huts and original stone structures. We are a ten minute walk from the narrow cobblestone streets in the center of Monchique.
We are looking for open minded people (love to host a couple or a couple of friends) to do several different tasks, in the garden, inside the house, creative projects. From nowvon we need a person or a couple to give us a Hand with the check in of our Guests and breakfast service. If you like to stay with people from Belgium, Brazil and Germany - please join us here in Monchique. Also creative input is desired and appreciated.
You may expect to stay in a tent or Staff room.
We work 5 hours a day. There is wifi in the Quinta. Generally we feed ourselves throughout the day and someone makes dinner in the evening.
