  We are a Franco/Australian family who has travelled the world, and we would be happy to help you with your Australian integration with tips and advice. At home, we speak French and English (we also know basic Spanish if that helps) and are happy to help with any translation required.
  We have two children - Oscar, who is 10, and Raphaëlle, who is 8. They attend the local school and have many extracurricular activities (soccer, dance, Oztag, swimming, table tennis).
  We also have a little cat, Guinness - you will have guessed, she is all black. And a big cat, Phantom, who's all grey and very cuddly.

  You get to live in one of the most idillic coastal area of Australia, close to countless beached (excellent surfing), rock pools, brilliant rain forest and escarpment walks. Located only 1.5h South of Sydney.
  Our family is already multi-cultural so you get two for the price of one (what a deal)

  Ajuda

  We are located in Woonona (Wollongong - South of Sydney, Australia).
  
  We are looking for a couple to help us with garden work and light building tasks for a period of 2-3 weeks in April or May.
  
  Ideally, you would have experience with using power tools and gardening. Tasks will vary depending on the weather, but may include things like cleaning garden beds, moving mulch, staining fences, etc. We need to have our front and back decks restored (sanded and refinished), so any building experience would be appreciated. We are getting some electrical work done (not by you), and there will be a few holes in the wall to patch up. We also have some furniture to install and repaint.
  
  We would ideally look for francophones to help maintain our children's language skills.
  
  Couples are very welcome.

  Acomodação

  You would have a private bedroom and share a large bathroom with the children. We provide bedding and towels. You have access to the whole house.
  We have a 1900's cottage with a large garden at the back. The outside deck is perfect for outdoor eating and to relax after a busy day (swing chair with parrots that come and eat in your hand).
  We have a BBQ and a pizza oven.
  Meals would be provided

  The closest beach is 5 minutes drive (or 20 minutes walk) but you have a series of beautiful natural wonders within 15 minutes drive from the house. The villages on the coast line are lively and host lots of friendly people who love to have a chat. We have great restaurants and pubs fit for all budgets (lots of local breweries as well). Plenty of cafés to get your morning coffee fix.
  Public transport is easy from our house. Buses to the train station run every 20 minutes and trains to Sydney every hour (depending on the time of day of course). Parking in the street is easy if ever you have your own car/van.

  We have a good internet connection but be aware that we are nestle between the sea and the Escarpment and on rainy days the connection is not as strong as when the sun is shinning.
