Hey there! We are Gil (36), Theresa (36) and Pio (2.5), a happy & multilingual family living in Mortsel, a little town very close to Antwerpen, Belgium. Our town is called Mortsel, and is a little pre-urban city very close to Antwerpen ()20 minutes by train or 20 minutes by bike), and Brussels (around 35-40 minutes by train). Our region has a lot of parks, which we very much enjoy. Generally, our city has features of a big city (public transport, many shops etc.), but yet is quite calm.
Theresa is German/Colombian and speaks German, Spanish, English, and some dutch. Gil is in Belgium and speaks Flemish, French, English, and some Spanish. At home, we speak German, Flemish, English, and some Spanish. Theresa, before she became am mum :-) used to dance a lot, do music, and do yoga. Professionally, she works as an agricultural scientist. Gil is a bioscience engineer working for the Flemish government. We are relaxed and funny people (at least that is what we think), trying to find the right work-life-balance.
Preferably we are looking for a Spanish speaking person that could help us with teaching Spanish to Pio. Alternatively, German speakers would also be fine! Of course, in both case mother tongue speakers!Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

Well Belgium is pretty small, so it's easy to explore places like Brussels, Ghent, Brugge, Namur etc. I guess the Belgium fries and waffels should also be mentioned as cultural heritage, although I personally really don't get the fuss about it. The beers are pretty good though.

Ajuda
We would need some help with Pio - which basically means playing and talking to a 2.5 year old little human, as well as in the house (cleaning, helping to prepare food), for maximum 2-3 h a day, Monday to Friday, usually somewhere between 2-5 pm.

We are living in a new triplex apartment with a big living, open kitchen and terrasse. The sleeping rooms are on the third floor. The room we have available for the "workawayer" is rather small, but good enough to sleep in. We only have one bathroom and one toilet, but this should not be a problem. We are moving to a big house in May though, where a big sleeping room and own toilet will be available.
Algo mais...
As said, everything is close in Belgium and the trains are pretty cheap, so daily trips to the main cities are perfectly possible. The southern region of Belgium where you can find more nature and some hills is also not far. Where we live, everything is flat, which is great cause then you can easily bike everywhere.

Wifi works perfectly, we're working from home most of the time as well. The room has a working table, but as said it's pretty small. From May onwards we'll have loads of space, including several options for gigantic working spaces.
