Enjoy Vienna and help me in the household

I live in the center of Vienna in an apartment in a pedestrian zone.
I have a doctorate in biology (zoology). However, I was self-employed with a dance studio in Vienna for over 25 years and I organized and led special women's trips to Morocco for over 20 years. My two children are grown up and I now have the freedom to travel alongside my network marketing business. I am curious and open to new ways of life and new cultures. I live healthy, 90 % vegetarian, non-smoker, early riser.
I love the exchange with people of other cultures.

Vienna is a cultural city with a great quality of life. There are many great excursions, as well as natural swimming places in the city. I would be happy to show you all the great possibilities here. I can teach you German and I love to cook together and exchange ideas.

I have spent almost three weeks at Renata’s place, from 21st of January until the 10th of February. This was my first experience with Workaway.
As I have already told Renata, whatever I can say, any of the words I may use to describe my stay at her place, they will never be able to express extensively and accurately, the atmosphere of her flat,… read more how well we got on, the good comprehension between us, regarding culture, education, languages, behaviours, problems of society, personal health, healthy eating, and so on. We had interesting conversations and good laughs.
It was very easy to do the tasks Renata asked me to do because it was what anyone has to do in his own house, moving some old furniture, cleaning the bathroom, the fat from the kitchen, top of or inside the cupboards, devices, drawers, floor etc. I also champood her big carpet, washed and waxed the parquet floor and we were happy to see the shiny result. We had wonderful, tasty and heathy smothies for breakfast and I generally used to cook for midday and for the evening, and I enjoyed that, because I do like cooking, and I had also the pleasure to do it for Renata, as we always ate together. She also gave me a couple of her vegetarian recipies and one of a very good carrot cake.
Renata is a wonderful person and I have told her that I admire her because she is at the same time very sensitive and very strong. I learned a lot from Renata. She has also been very attentive with me at every moment, in any occasion, and very important, in little details and gestures. The first days I arrived, she took me for a walk to the center of Vienna which is only 15mn from her house, (the location of her flat is wonderful) and a couple of afternoons, by car, to a lake area and to Hermes Villa which I enjoyed, and also for a visit to a very kind cousin of hers.
And something I will remember all my life : she took upon herself my bithday’s date and insisted in doing the anniversary cake and she made that date a beautiful day for me. I had some very touching gifts from her and her grown up son who came for the occasion and we spent a very good time.
I will always be thankful to Renata for giving me the first opportunity as a workawayer and the fact of beeing in Vienna has given me the chance to respond to other workaway offers more easily and to stay in Vienna. Thank you so much Renata, you know you will always have me as a friend anywhere in the world.
