  🌈Looking for german speaking Mary/Marty Poppins to support single mum this summer/fall 2025 with household & caretaking in the beautifull city of zürich🌈
  
  
  Hi there
  My name is sophie, i am a single mum and freelance editor on feature films. My wonderfull son samu is 9 years old. We live in zürich with our two babycats and we have a second home in Berlin where we usually spend the holidays.
  
  At the very moment (june 25) we are looking for a houessitter in Zürich (09th 07. - 16th 08.) while we are away in Berlin OR/AND a workawayer to stay and help out when we are back (16th 08. - 20th 10. or longer).
  
  During the housesitting-period you would stay in our beautifull old charmed flat, surrounded by lush greenery but in walking distance to Zürich downtown, river and lake swimming spots. You could also use my E-bike to get arround. You would stay for free but food is not provided during this time. The task is to water the flowers, do some minor cleaning tasks ( like clean the windows) and most import, give love and food to the cats every morning and evening. Its 3 rooms including a cozy lodgia/balcony.
  
  Mid August we will come back and start school and work. You would move to a cozy 20m2 room with bathroom next door under the roof and support us in the daily business - mostly with cooking,foodshopping,cleaning and washing but also sometimes watching after Samu or spending the weekend in our flat and looking after the cats again if we go on a short trip. Working hours are very flexibel and mostly less than 4 hours. We recently had a workawayer for a year who was a student and stayed for free but paied herself for the food and we reduced working hours to max 1-2 hours daily. In case you would like to study or have a parttimejob in the meantime. Everything is possible.
  
  If someone can come for housesitting AND workawaying until end October that would be great but also one of the two options is possible.
  
  All ahead i need to mention that we can not host couples because we dont have enough space for that.
  
  We live in the city and im a single mum so im afraid it is not a place where u can learn amazing things about ecofarming or carpentry:) I am mostly busy with working and happy to spend the few free hours of the day with my son or using the opportunity (when a workawayer is arround) to do yoga or meet friends.so dont excpect to much entertainment from my side.alltough i am always happy to have a cosy dinner together,talk about the day and hear about your adventures. You are always invited to join the dinners or just use our kitchen, hang out in the flat or do your own thing - everyone as it flows...But it is basic that you like spending time with kids:)
  
  We are easygoing,love good food (mostly vegetarian),music,visitors,yoga, chess and football.

  Zürich: Beautiful green neighbourhood close to the forrest and 10Minutes to downtown, river, lake.
  Berlin:You will stay in one of the coolest,most buzing and beautifull areas of Berlin in a spacious but charmin old flat.I lived in Berlin for 10 years and i can suggest lots of good places.
