  We are a happy, loving and busy family living out on 25 acres of land.
  I grow all our vegetables in the summer, as well we have many flowered gardens.
  We have chickens.
  We have a dog, and a cat.
  I have three daughters, aging in range from 18-24 years old. Two are currently travelling abroad as well.
  We all like to work together to take care of our property and the loving souls that live on it.

  We are looking for people who want to experience a true Canadian Family lifestyle. We all work together to create a beautiful and happy life. If you want to refine your English speaking skills, learn a few Canadian dishes, explore our nations capital, Ottawa, or just spend a night with us by the fire, sharing stories. We are here to do these things with you. We would also love to hear all about where you are from, learn your language, and try some of your family’s homemade dishes.
  There is a great cafe up the road from us that hosts live bands on the weekends, and a beach near by. Ottawa is a 30 minute car ride away, and there is so much to do in the Nations Capital as well.
  We want to host someone who wants to get involved in the daily activities of our life. Someone who helps us with whatever it is that we are doing. Whether it be gardening, playing cards, watching a movie, or cleaning the house. Team work makes everything easier! We look forward to

  Ajuda

  We are looking for someone who likes to get their hands dirty digging in the gardens, who likes to build things that can help with different projects around the house or property, or someone who can chip in with housework, and cooking.
  As the fall season approaches- it will be preparing the grounds for winter!
  
  Mother Earth is very important to us and we Like to respect and leave a gentle footprint. Composting, and creating bird and butterfly gardens, natural habitats for other wildlife and genuine appreciation of the abundance off our land is so fulfilling.
  
  Looking forward to having people share time and assist in getting to know this beautiful area.
  For the winter months we will be doing indoor projects, painting- general house cleaning and reorganizing and starting plants for the greenhouse.

  Acomodação

  In exchange for your help around the house and the gardens, I will provide you with a space of your own to stay. Depending on the time of the year, it may be a trailer with its own kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom (warmer months) or a bedroom in our house. Either way, we know how important it is to have your own space. We respect that and offer that. Wholeheartedly. As well, I will provide you with food! I do my best to accommodate different dietary needs, we would need to discuss further to ensure that we could meet your needs.

  We are located just west of Ottawa, in a bit of a rural area and cottage country. There is a lot of outdoor things to do around here in the summers and fall. In the winter there are trails for snowshoeing, and skidooing/four wheeling,
  There is local Yoga and other healing modalities near by too! There’s is local restaurants, coffee shops markets etc all close by.
  If there is something in particular you are looking to do or accomplish while you are here, just let me know and I will do my best to help you accomplish it!
