  Hello from beautiful Cairns!
  
  We are a friendly, easy-going family that is seeking a couple of hardworking and trustworthy travellers to help out with around 3 solid hours of work a day in exchange for 6-20 nights of free accommodation and some basic food provided.
  
  We normally like to get the jobs out of the way in the morning due to the tropical nature of Cairns. The kind of jobs could include looking after animals as I dog sit (walking, cleaning, feeding, taking photos), cleaning cars, gurneying (pressure washing) paths and driveways, weeding, trimming trees, and general household cleaning, with tools and materials provided.
  
  Our house is air-conditioned and comfortable with friendly pets, internet, Netflix and a pool. There is a bus stop to town almost directly outside the door.
  
  We really love meeting people from other countries and are really happy to welcome you and show you around the local area. But, please contact us only if you are clean and hard working, are happy to get up early and can organise yourself without being constantly followed. We work full time and are busy enough with work and family and really don't like repeatedly asking people to do things. If you like to sleep past 9 am and party all night a backpacker hostel will be better suited to you. :)
  
  I’m looking for people who can help with looking after gardens, dogs and cleaning, who can tidy up after themselves, who get up no later than 8am, who can work unsupervised and use their initiative.

  We love to show travellers around Cairns and often have people from other countries stay. You would be one of the family whilst you were with us.

  Jobs would depend on your previous experience but could include household cleaning, gardening (weeding and sweeping mostly) painting, staining, gurneying, trimming trees
  walking, feeding, cleaning up after dogs, taking photos for their owners
  cleaning cars inside and out.
  
  Let me know too if you have any trade skills (carpentry, concreting, building etc) as there is always something to do.
  
  We really prefer people with a mature work ethic who will contribute to jobs in the morning when it is not raining and who we can trust to get on with things without us having to chase them. Please don't apply if you like to party all night and sleep all day or if you need a lot of direction to get on with doing things. With 4 kids, working and a lot of adopted dogs coming and going things are already busy enough without chasing people, thank you for your initiative and understanding :)
