  We are running a summer program of events with a regular Cabaret evening in a local chateau and a small music festival towards the end of August. We're looking for dedicated and motivated people to help out. It will be an ideal experience to mix with professional musicians and get some hands on experience in event management and organisation.
  
  The work is not heavy but we would expect you to be physically fit.
  
  We're also keen musicians and everyone in the house plays at least one instrument. In the warmer months (we have 20C+ from April onwards) we have a regular weekend gig where musicians and DJs play into the wee small hours in a community setting.
  
  There are cultural activities galore in the area, and lots of excellent and varied festivals throughout the summer months. We also have a large eco garden with fig trees, apples and vegetables (the tomatoes in the south of France taste like nothing you've ever tasted)
  
  Out back of the house we have a large enclosed courtyard with a stage and sound system for more intimate musical soirées. You are of course very welcome to join in!

  An immersion in French language (if required) is available, as well as the opportunity to assist alongside skilled tradesmen and of course sampling excellent french cuisine, wine and song! There is also the opportunity to improve your English.
  
  Our social circle is very varied and includes painters, musicians, award winning Film and TV writers, composers, knitwear designers and architects. You are more than welcome to join us in our frequent soirées.
  
  We also have a small informal walking group and of an evening you'll find us trekking up into the local hills with a picnic to take in the beautiful scenery and the incredible sunsets over the high Pyrénées.

  Ajuda

  Useful skills would be driving, clearing up after the craftsmans, sanding and some light painting.
  
  If you have any experience with social media that would be great.
  
  You would be helping an experienced practitioner with fetching supplies, driving, clearing up, sanding ect. It's a excellent opportunity to learn from a master craftsman.
  
  The work is not heavy but we would expect you to be physically fit.

  Single room available, access to courtyard and sun trap. Access to music room, when available.

  Bicycles are provided free of charge to use when you like, close proximity to the Voie Vertes, a cycle path that goes 40km in either direction.
  
  A practice guitar is available also, and if there's someone available free guitar tuition is on offer.
  
  Transport links aren't great, but most of the local villages and amenities can be accessed by bicycle. There are three bars in the locale. If you need a lift to get somewhere either one of us or our friends will be able to help out. There is normally at least one nighttime 'animation' or festival every week from May to September. And occasionally we'll take a visit to the hot springs (free) only half an hour away.
