  I am a mother of two children 15 and soon 17 years old living in Lillehammer in a house with 2 gorgeous kittens ( half main coon, half street mix ( born november 2025).
  
  I am interested mostly in somebody coming to look after our cats and house sitting when we go for a holiday, but I could also arrange for shorter visits with regular workaway jobs in the garden, inside the house ( paint jobs mainly, but also other projects planned.
  
  Since I also work full time a hand with the kids would also be nice or maybe food prepping/ cooking.
  
  For this summer 2026 I have the following plans for help:
  
  1) looking after 2 gorgeous cats,
  2) repaint room in basement
  3) digging flowerbeds, and different garden projects.
  4) install better ventilation in basement
  5) Gardening, preferable permaculture.
  6) Smaller indoor jobs.
  7) cutting hedges.
  8) repainting the house
  9) making a greenhouse.

  The house is quite central in Lillehammer near the lake Mjøsa, where you can swim in the summer ( though quite cold)
  There are many hike trails in the visinity, and as it is only about 500m from the bus and train station its easy to get wherever you might want to go.
  When there is time I am happy to join you for hikes, or simply give suggestions to what you want to do.
  On occasions we can eat dinner together.
  Happy to get to know people from around the world, and happy to share my local knowledge and company.

  Would really like both my children and myself to be able to master more languages, the kids speak English and very beginner German, myself I am very much interesting in learning more Spanish and French and German. I am Swedish, but can speak all Scandinavian languages Ok, and am fluent in English.

  Acomodação

  If you will be here while I am on vacation there are 3 bedrooms.
  If you are here while we are home, the lodgings will be simpler ( at least til its more organised) in the basement, with separate toilet, but sharing shower and kitchen with us. There would also be space here to camp in the garden.
  
  I am suggesting that you will have your own part of the fridge and that I will provide you with basic food according to what you wish. Occasionally I am happy to make dinner for you or that we arrange meals together, this I am sure we can work out.
  
  In the basement there is also provided a very simple kitchen with a cook stove.
  The utensils used will be washed in the washingmachine upstairs.

  It’s a nice area with lots of possibilities with hikes biking, skiing (in winter). I can also help with transport with car when I have time.
