  Hello!
  
  My name is Hayley and I’m excited to share a very unique experience with you!
  
  I am looking for a personal chef for my husband and I in exchange to stay at our newly built eco home in the beautiful Ottawa valley. You would have the ENTIRE house to yourself!!!
  
  My husband and I just had a baby but he is proving to be a handful! We decided to move back in with my mother for support. My husband and I are both in our 30s and are stonemasons (although I am currently on maternity leave). Our little boy is just shy of 3 months old!
  
  Our house is approximately 50 min (by car) to down town Ottawa. It is nestled on 2 acres of forested property. Sip coffee and watch the deer meander through the woods. Enjoy a bonfire and night and listen to the owls and gaze at the stars. It’s truly a place to unplug and unwind! Snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing, climbing, swimming, skiing… the area has so many outdoor activities to offer it’s hard to list them all!

  We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and nutrition!
  
  Someone who can plan, grocery shop and make healthy meals for my husband and I. The ideal candidate would enjoy cooking plant based but occasionally throwing in the odd steak for my husband!
  
  You would provide a packed lunch’s and dinner from Monday-Friday with the weekends off.
  
  Ideally when my son is less dependent on me I would like to learn how to cook meals alongside you. I really don’t enjoy cooking but I understand in order to raise a happy and healthy family it all starts with what we eat!
  
  I would prefer someone with a professional background in cooking/ nutrition but if you’re a self taught foodie that’s cool with me too!
  
  It took my husband and I 3 years every weekend to build our beautiful home. So much blood sweat and tears went in to it and we are beyond proud of our accomplishments! That being said we need someone who is going to love our little house as much as we do. Someone who is responsible, clean and reliable. Someone who understands the work it takes to build a house and be respectful of that.

  The ideal candidate must be able to drive and have there own car (if we find that absolutely perfect someone I would be willing to share my car) There is no public transportation anywhere near where we live. The closest village is 15 minutes away and the closest town is 25 minutes.
  
  Although there is so much the Ottawa valley can offer living in the woods by yourself can feel very isolating. The ideal person would have to be ok being a lone wolf at times!
  
  We do not have wifi or a TV! I know this throws some people off but as soon as you step on to our property you will understand it’s not necessary! (Although it is possible to hotspot off your phone if you have a phone plan with data).
  
  My husband is an extremely hard worker he works full time as a stone mason in the union. He wakes up at 430 in the morning and doesn’t get home till 6 at night. In the summer he runs his own masonry business on the weekends and on holidays. I am full out with the little babe and have been really feeling the effect of being a new mom having no time to eat healthy!

  I’m open to digital nomads but please keep in mind that you would have to get a cell phone plan with data to hotspot your laptop off of. This has always worked for me but cellphone service is limited in the area and is by no means high speed.
