Join Our Family in the Irish Countryside
We’re a warm and busy family of seven living on eight acres in the beautiful South East of Ireland, just 5km from the coast and 20km from the mountains. Our home is surrounded by nature, and we share it with our friendly dog, two cats, seven hens, and six ducks.
We are a home-educating family, taking a hands-on, nature-based approach to learning. Life here is full of outdoor adventures—whether it's swimming or surfing at nearby beaches, hiking in the hills, or tending to our kitchen garden and polytunnel (we grow some of our own food and hope to grow more each season).
We're currently renovating our old stone farmhouse, so things are lively, creative, and always evolving. We’re looking for an au pair to become part of our everyday life—someone who enjoys being around children, is happy to muck in with daily tasks, and is curious about family life, nature, and rural living.
We offer a warm, welcoming environment with plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding countryside. There’s a local bus that runs twice daily to the nearby town and city, giving access to shops, cafés, and other amenities.

You can enjoy sea swimming,surfing and hiking. Our local town is tramore which is only 15 minutes drive away where you can enjoy many Irish pubs, cafes,swimming pool , fabulous beach and amusements.
