  We are Tonka (30) and Ivan (32) from Croatia, living in Denmark.
  
  We bought an almost 100 years old house that needs a lot of love to get in a good shape ;)
  
  The location is beautiful, a small city where people sometimes ride horses on the streets, very quiet and relaxing area with a lot of forests and nature. There is a big lake only 1.5 km away and another one a little bit further away.
  
  German border is around 1.5 hours away, if you would like to visit Germany.
  
  There are opportunities for camping, kayaking, bike riding or visiting bigger cities - Horsens, Silkeborg, Vejle and Herning are all around 30 minutes drive and Aarhus (the second biggest city in Denmark) is 50 minutes away.

  Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado

  You can learn about Croatia and Denmark, taste a lot of delicious food 🤤, both salty and sweet (Tonka is a great cook).
  
  Our mother tongue is croatian, but we speak also english and danish, so there is an opportunity to practice a language.
  
  Ivan plays piano and guitar. He also sings and produces music. There is a small music studio in the house, so if you are a musician or someone interested in learning to play an instrument or sing, you are welcome 😁
  
  If you would like to move to Denmark, we can also help you with that. We moved here after staying with a host that we found on this site 🙂

  Ajuda

  We are looking for people who would like to help with hands-on projects around the house.
  
  You don't need experience, we will gladly guide you in everything you do, so you can learn something new. Of course, if you have experience with these projects, you can also teach us the things you do :)

  Acomodação

  You will stay in a heated wooden cabin in the backyard (check the photos on our profile), with two beds (queen-size + single-size) and other furniture.
  
  The toilet and the shower are in the main house - you can use them whenever you need to.
  
  We are providing all the food for our guests. They are also welcome to prepare some food for us if they would like to. :)
  
  There will be mostly mediterranean, balkan and scandinavian inspired meals, maybe some thai or something else. Tonka loves to discover and try new recipes all the time, so the guests shouldn't be too picky.

  Algo mais...

  If you are flying to Denmark, we can pick you up at the Billund airport, and drive you back when you'll be leaving.
  
  Working hours or days are not fixed, it depends on the things we will do. Maybe you can work a little bit more some days and then have a few days of, or work more days but only a couple of hours per day, but don't worry, you will have a lot of free time. We don't expect too much work cause relaxing, hanging out and new experiences are also important ;)
