  We, Psalm, Don Don and Michelle are the people behind the operation of a beautiful Eco Villa in Antique, PH. The villa was envisioned, designed and built by the owner, Psalm, using bamboo as the main material in the hopes of showcasing bamboo as the future of rebars and a more eco friendly material. We currently have 2 locally employed, paid staffs.
  
  The Eco Villa is located by the beach and on a peaceful town where you can see fishermen catching fishes at dusk and dawn. There are families living nearby and local children swimming and playing on the sea from time to time. The village is far from the city life and you can learn about the old tradition of the Filipino Culture that we pride ourselves on.
  
  I, Michelle, will be the one answering your inquiries here in Workaway and Don Don is the lovely guy who is helping Psalm in running the Eco Villa.
  
  Our goal in having volunteers is to share the craftsmanship of using Bamboo as a material and at the same time we need help from the volunteer to share and demonstrate the uses and beauty of bamboo to the other people in the area.
  
  Who and what are we looking for:
  + A person who wants to learn more about bamboo as a material. We will share you our knowledge about the beauty and stability of bamboo and we hope you'll empower and share what you learned, be able to do a demo if possible to other locals and people in the area.
  + Digital marketer who can help with creating content, social media marketing and bookings from online.
  + We are glad if you have one or more of the following skills: landscaping, building, conscious designing, architecture, sustainable living and arts as we are eager to learn from you too!
  + Those who want to experience a laidback, simple and natural lifestyle are welcome to join.
  + Willing to stay for a minimum of two weeks.
  
  What you will get in return:
  + Free stay in one of the fan rooms in the eco villa or in a private room nearby if the Eco Villa is fully booked.
  + Free lunch and dinner, most of our food are seafood caught by us or local fishermen, fresh from the sea and we partner it with rice and sometimes we also have vegetables, sometimes dried fish. We also have a fully equipped kitchen and the market is 5 minutes away from the villa if you want to cook your own food.
  + Free use of kayak, goggles for swimming and scooter (you just need to fill it up with gas) to roam around the area.
  + Learn building with the use of bamboo as a material
  + Learn about the Filipino Culture
  + You can experience fishing with the locals and even catch your own fish and cook it later in the kitchen
  
  There's also a cold spring, natural park and waterfalls nearby. Boracay, one of Philippine's well known beach for it's fine and white sand is only 1.5 hrs away from the villa. 🏝️

  The Eco Villa is located at a peaceful town in Antique, PH. In here you will be able to see the local provincial life in the Philippines that is far away from the city. You will see local fishermen catch fish everyday, children playing around and families spending time together. You will be able to live and experience life with the locals.

  • We need help in empowering and sharing what you will learn from our Bamboo craftsmanship in the Eco Villa and be able to do a demo if possible to other locals and people in the area.
  • We also need help in taking photos of the Villa and creating content for our social media pages.
  • Apart from that, if you can help us in building, landscaping and decorating.

  Acomodação

  You will live in your own private room in the villa with a fan. There is a fully equipped kitchen you are free to use and if ever the villa is fully booked, we will relocate you to another private room nearby the villa.

  We don't have wifi, but you can buy a local sim, we recommend using Smart Sim Card as that has the strongest signal in the area. Since it's an eco villa, it is mostly composed of open spaces so there will be times wherein there are insects, crabs, lizards and mosquito in the area. You can bring or buy from the nearby market a mosquito repellant or lotion if you like. Psalm, the owner also has a lovely and sweet dog named Lola which you will encounter in the villa. We usually cook fish, crabs or sea food that we caught fresh from the sea for us to eat, you are also free to buy and cook your own food in the nearby market if you want.
  
  As for transportation, Psalm can lend his scooter if you want to roam around nearby, there is a bus from the city passing by in front of the villa and there's also tuk tuks around.
  
  The villa is located in a peaceful town, there are no big establishments, no party places, no huge restaurants, but there is a market, small shops, bakeries, small eateries and restaurants and 7/11 nearby where you can buy your needs. There's nature everywhere as the place is surrounded with beaches, natural park, mountains, cold spring and waterfalls.

  There is no wifi in the villa but you can buy/ bring pocket wifi and insert a local sim to have internet access. Smart Data has the strongest signal in our area.
