  I'm Luise the guardian of Nelson and Terry (rescued from a life of confinement in an 8 x 4 kennel). I often need to go away for ONE NIGHT (two days) only. As this does not provide much of a workaway opportunity what I am offering is a weeks stay in exchange for one or two days of dog care.
  
  Do you want to experience the beautiful lush green Minho region of Northern Portugal - close to the stunning Gerês National Park? Enjoy stunning mountain views on your daily dog walks - if you don’t mind the uphill walk to get up there that is!
  
  This would suite digital nomads working from home the house has a wonderful view over the valley, fast wifi and a nice big table to sit and work. If you prefer to work from the sofa there is a spacious living room with a large comfy sofa.
  
  For explores you are in a beautiful region with the nearest beach a 40 minute drive away, and Penada-Gerês National Park an hours drive. The city of Braga is 35 minutes, Ponte de Lima 33min and Ponte Be Barca 16min. You would probably need a car.
  
  If you would love to stay in the area in my home for a week in exchange for a couple days walking and feeding the dogs we may be a good match. These are rescue dogs and although very good boys they do present some challenges so you would need to be experienced with dogs. We can have a video call where I can explain fully before you before you decide if this is the right assignment for you.

  I have two rescue dogs that need walking twice a day and fed daily.
  That’s all you need to do.
  Because I often only need to be away one night or two I can offer you a longer stay in exchange for a couple of days house sitting.
  Therefore were will be sharing the space during your extended stay. I have a guest room.

  Acomodação

  The house is a 2-bath 3-bed with a garden with views across the valley. I use the spare bedrooms as an office and guest room, where you will sleep. There’s a large kitchen with; dishwasher, washing machine, wood burning stove, gas hob, air-fryer, insta-pot, microwave and various blenders including a vitamix.
  I have excellent wifi!

  The house and garden is spacious and has excellent wifi. It is a quiet area with not much to do close by. Therefore this would suit a digital nomad or someone who has online work or laptop work to get done. A car would be an advantage.

  The wifi has good upload and download speed and there's several places to work in the house.
