We are 60 years old, we have 4 children and 7 grand children. We also have 2 dogs. My husband works in Paris but comes every week-end and holidays. I spend winter in Paris and stay from April till septembre in our chateau. The castle is our passion, we love to share it ! There is a lot to do in the 80 rooms and in the park while discovering French way of life in a 17th century castle.
Of course we have local French workers employed for the work related to paying visitors and Workawayers will only be helping towards the private part of our home and family meals !

We all speak english but you can learn french by staying in a preserved historical monument in the middle of wild nature. If you love nature and want to discover wild landscapes and if you like history and want to discover French way of life then we will be happy to welcome you to our château !

Join our family and experience life in a beautiful and huge castle in Massif Central (Lozère). You will certainly find the way to help us that suits you best : inside or outside… maintenance of interior of the castle or outside in the park, help with cooking and clearing, way. The ways to help us are diverse. You will share our family life and that of our 4 children and 7 grand children and stay in a place full of history.

You will stay in a room in the castle and share you meals with us. Our 4 children aged 30 to 40 live in Paris but often come here with our grandchildren.

During your free time you can visit the region : hikes, canyoning in Gorges du Tarn and visites are possible all around. Aubrac offers a unique landscape. If necessary you will be able to use the family car.
