We are small, forested, 10 acre permaculture farm nestled in the fertile hills of the Willamette Valley. Nestled between the quaint towns of Newberg and Sherwood, this oasis is in the middle of wine country is just 30 minutes south of Portland, and an easy drive to year-round surfing, skiing, fishing, and the best hiking Oregon has to offer. The farm is a teaching facility, hosting a myriad of community outreach, up-cycling, homesteading, and prepping workshops, so be prepared for early mornings, large crowds, and long hours. We are almost completely self-sufficient, producing large varieties of heirloom fruits and vegetables, breeding, butchering, and selling heritage chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail, chukar, rabbits, pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, yak, and alpaca. We tan hides, carve bone, dig root cellars, save seed, and have a small studio to blow glass, throw pottery, create alternative/green energy, and build creatively and constantly.
We LOVE expanding our community, and always need help out at the farm, but want to make sure we get some basic housekeeping out of the way first. We ask that EVERYONE coming to the farm watch the FULL farm tour so you realize what kind of folks you’re working with before you make the trek here! Do drop us a message and we will send you the video link.

We have a large hostel-type arrangement that sleeps 6, a loft, 4 tent sites, and one private room, two community bathrooms, two kitchenettes, and both indoors and outdoor showers. We love both children and pets, but sadly don’t have extra room to host them currently. Weekly community meals aren’t customary (we’ve found most people like to fend of themselves), but regular meals can be arranged for committed/interested
